My son’s hockey team recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. The rooms were not only spacious but also beautifully modern, providing a comfortable retreat after long days at the rink. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything we needed and more.

What truly stood out, though, was the incredible service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group, even organizing a special pasta and chicken luncheon for the team. It wasn’t just a meal—it was a highlight of the trip. My 14-year-old couldn’t stop raving about the pasta, declaring it the best he’s ever had!

A huge thank-you to Charley and the entire team for their thoughtfulness, professionalism, and dedication to making our stay extraordinary. We can’t recommend this hotel enough and look forward to returning in the future!

Our U16 North Legacy Warriors hockey team from Grande Prairie, AB had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Plus Chateau Inn Sylvan Lake from November 21-24, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, the hospitality was outstanding.

The owners and staff went above and beyond to accommodate both our team and the families traveling. They graciously offered up the banquet room as a meeting area, giving us a perfect spot to gather and prepare for the games. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find two charcuterie boards for us – a thoughtful touch that made everyone feel welcome and appreciated.

On our last morning, the boys had an early game, and the hotel went the extra mile by providing an early breakfast so that the team could fuel up before heading to the rink. This level of care and attention to detail made a huge difference, especially for a group of hungry athletes!

The property was beautiful, with stunning Christmas trees throughout the lobby and common areas. The hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the pool and facilities were top-notch, offering a great way to unwind after a busy day of hockey.

As a special touch, our room was decorated with a Christmas tree, making the stay feel even more festive and cozy. The thoughtful amenities and the level of service we received truly exceeded our expectations.

We can’t thank the owners and staff enough for their over-the-top hospitality. We look forward to visiting again in the future and would highly recommend the Best Western Plus Chateau Inn Sylvan Lake to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay. We had a one night stay in a lakeview room. The lobby was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees. A very nice added touch was that there was a Christmas tree all lit up in our room upon arrival. Great location for wandering along the waterfront and enjoying all the restaurants/pubs.

Five big beautiful stars across the board! Everything was splendid and fantastic. Most of the credit goes to the nighttime receptionist. She really went out of her way to make me comfortable 😉

The rooms were nice and clean. The staff were great. They answered our questions and made friendly suggestions for things to do during our stay.
The pool was so clean it looked brand new.
The hotel is close to the beach, and if you turn right, you're on your way to some really nice bars and pubs. Don't forget to turn left, there are some fantastic restaurants in that direction too.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Chateau Inn at Sylvan Lake, Alberta. The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming. It was so very nice to enjoy this beautiful town during the off season without all the crowds that they normally have during the summer months!

Sincerely disappointed at this hotels poor customer service. My wife booked us a stay over the August long weekend while we were in town visiting family. Upon arriving we were kindly welcomed to the front desk by two young women who couldn’t of been more helpful. However, that was where our positive stay ended. We checked in and went to our room and went to use the pool. First experience we needed to go to the front desk to ask for a towel. That’s not unheard of, but not hospitality standard. Second, once had our towels, we noticed how filthy the collective restroom/change rooms are. We went to tell the front desk this concern and they informed us ‘the manager is out for the weekend’, no email or voicemail to leave a comment of concern. I didn’t push it, but I didn’t have high hopes for the remaining time there. The building obviously needs work done, there were no ice machines on each floor (which could be due to being cleaned, no biggie), but no communication with guests during such a busy weekend was more red flags. I hope this hotel is just going through normal seasonal obstacles and not a full time thing.

Excellent Location to beach, shops and Amenities. Good breakfast, with lots of available food choices. Nice, comfortable firm (but not hard), bed with good linens and pillows. Bring your plug-ins for charger as there was no direct USB charger in the room that I could see. My room faced the lake and was a lovely morning view.
