Best Western Plus Orillia Hotel - Orillia, Ontario

Récemment nous avons passé quelques nuits à cet hôtel. La chambre et le niveau de propreté sont bien. À notre inscription nous avons aperçu un changement de tarif assez important entre nos deux nuitées. Nous nous sommes fait dire que c'était du au fait que le deuxième soir il y avait un spectacle qui se produisait au Casino Rama, un établissement complètement indépendant de notre hôtel. Alors, prudence: si vous ne voulez pas de surprise étudiez bien vos réservations en ligne pour ce genre d'activité néfaste. A notre départ j'ai à nouveau questionné cette pratique seulement pour entendre que c'est une pratique bien normale et que tout les hôtels de la région y adhéraient. Quelle explication! J'ai alors envoyé une brève note à ce sujet à la direction BW tout simplement pour recevoir une réponse que c'était une pratique tout à fait standard de l'industrie et qui se fait partout. ||||Alors plus question d'y retourner pour nous, surtout que l'artiste en spectacle n'était absolument pas de notre goût! ||||Nos déjeuners (inclus) étaient bien, fraîchement préparés, et copieux. Notre souper (non-inclus) était aussi bien et satisfaisant avec un service très acceptable.

Super de belle grande chambre propre et confortable. Par contre a cause du covid aucun dejeuner n'a ete servit. Rien de proposer pour apporter non plus. Personnel chaleureux. Tres grand stationnement. Je vais repasser certainement lors de mon prochain passage.

Great people at this Hotel! We have been going to this hotel for years now and the staff are always incredibly Friendly. The included breakfast is always very good.|The Lady that runs the breakfast is Jerry and what a great person she is .|She made us feel like family.|The people at the check in and out are tops too.|There was a shuttle to take us back and forth to the venue we were going to for a reasonable price.|As Always rooms clean and comfortable.|2 minutes Walking distance to the Lake and park.

Spent one night at this hotel for a concert at Casino Rama which is only about a 10-minute drive away! If you don’t feel like driving, the hotel offers a shuttle service for $10/person round-trip!

Room was clean and spacious, included breakfast was excellent, free parking, and the staff are extremely friendly!

Huge shout out to Donna at the front desk - she’s one of the kindest and friendliest people I’ve ever met.

Will definitely stay here when we’re back!

I have stayed at this hotel before back in 2023 - It was fantastic.

I would like to shout out the fantastic customer service from Donna, Jerry, Bill, Nicole and Lindsay. These people are gems and the upper management needs to know that.

I recently stayed for a week while having car trouble, and I was not very happy with my stay. Most of my issues were with Ben the front desk manager. Although he is friendly, I often left the conversation confused or not satisfied.

My main issue is that room 446 had bed bugs and I brought this to his attention and showed him the bed bug bites on myself and he said to me, oh I'm sorry and thank you for bringing that to my attention. That was the end of the conversation, no talk of moving me out of the room or anything. I left feeling uncertain - I returned back and spoke to Nicole who directed him to move me and put the room out of service. I don't understand why he didn't do that in the first place. I spent $35 dollars in laundry and the afternoon did the best they could to reduce the day rate for that day to compensate me.

When I checked out I paid by debit and noticed almost a week later there was still a hold on my credit card, when I called Bill informed me that when Ben checked me out he did not release the authorization on my credit card. If I hadn't have called I believe there still would have been a hold for some time.

Anyways, again there are multiple people who work there as I mentioned who are absolute stars. I feel as though I should have been compensated a bit more for the bed bug bites I endured but I believe that will be up to Simon to decide.

It would be nice to hear back.
