We loved our stay at the Big Garden Cottages. The cottage was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed including a BBQ which was nice to make dinner. The view from the property is beautiful. The owner, Dora, was wonderful. She was always willing to provide info on the area which was very helpful. My parents and I were so glad we decided to stay in Norris Point. We found it was much less touristy than Rocky Harbour and had beautiful views, while still located very close to all of the hiking trails. Would love to come back and stay at the Big Garden Cottages again someday!

Two of us stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage (#3) for 4 nights. This was a great base for exploring Gros Morne National park- we did 8 walks in 3 days. It located ideally to explore anywhere in the park. Great view from front view or small deck that had a table for 2, over the harbour. The cottagewas very well equipped and clean- we ate in 3 nights out of 4 - including picking up fresh fish to BBQ at the nearby fishery in Rocky Harbour. I would stay here again.

Each cabin has their own cooking , full sized fridge, couch and chairs, patio and BBQ. The beds were comfortable , good bathroom and amenities with a great view to the water. easy to register and I left a backpack there and the receptionist arranged for me to get it in St. John's - amazing service. What a wonderful stay!!!!

Stayed in Cabin #5. The view from the windows and the small front deck cannot be beat. Each morning watched seals frolic. The tides rolled in and out as the beach area grew and receded. The road in front is fairly quiet as is the whole area. Lovely place to stop and enjoy the park from. The cabin was clean and well equipped. Would happily stay there again and stay longer.

We had a great stay at Big Garden Cottages. They were clean, a good size, reasonably priced for the area, and perfectly located. There isn't a lot of privacy between cabins, but it was fine and seems to be the norm for cabins in the area. The lady we dealt with was friendly and helpful when we needed extra things like garbage bags. There probably could be more of those things stocked in the cabin so we didn't have to bother her to ask for extras. The firepit is communal. We didn't utilize it but instead opted to walk across the street and have a beach fire. Would definitely return again if in the area.

Recently had family from the US and booked this place. Booked well in advanced to ensure to get appropriate accommodations. They offered us a cabin with a granny flat which was perfect for the 2 night visit. Upon arrival advised that they gave away the granny flat. They offered a different cabin for 1 night but for the second night was told all would have to stay in one cabin with a cot being brought in. Not acceptable. Only stayed one night. ||||Mattresses were thin and pillows were poor quality.

We needed 3 beds and most cottages in Gros Morne have only 2 bedrooms with a bed in each room. Here we had the 2 bedroom apartment with a connecting queen bed/sitting room, connected by the same balcony. Quiet, perfect view of the bay. We loved Norris point. It was a perfect place to visit the area. The place was clean and the kitchen had everything we could need. We needed a certain cooking pan and Dora searched the other cottages to find one for us. PS If you go to Norris Point in 2020, it is already full for their "Norris Point coming home" event between July 24th and Aug 2nd 2020

the cottage was very clean well located with a nice view of the bay.. the kitchen was well equipped as we did our own cooking. the fire pit was nice to meet other visitors. we were two couples and the cottage size was very adequate for our needs.
