The staff and ownership at Black Moose are outstanding. They attend to your every need and always have everything ready on schedule. The outpost we stay at (Optic Lake) offers great fishing and, with the planned upgrades to Optic Outpost (slated to be complete in 2024), the experience will only get better. We are already booked for 2025 and are looking forward to seeing the new Optic Outpost.

We have been fishing out of this outpost for years, when it was Viking outposts. Nate and his staff are super friendly and accommodating. They are renovating or rebuilding all the outposts. Great fishing. Highly recommend Black Moose Outposts
