AVIS : Blue Forest Lane B&B est situé dans une belle maison dans un environnement calme, soigné, fleuri, en lisière de forêt.||Les chambres sont confortables, agréables et spacieuses mais le « PLUS », c’est la disponibilité de Brent, notre hôte, et ses talents de cuisinier. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents, cuisinés par un « Chef » et très variés. Si vous allez dans la région d’Halifax cette adresse est à ne pas manquer.

Absolutely beautiful garden setting- like a botanical garden. The host was personable and so accommodating. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the back porch in the garden setting after arriving for an evening check in. The rooms were lovely, and the breakfast was just wonderful. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay more than one night!

I would like to deeply thank Brent and his wife for the great hospitality. I loved every single detail about my stay in this haven. Every thing is tasteful, warm and beautiful. I would love to stay longer in the future. Actually, I don't find sufficient words or sufficient time to explain why I loved this B&B. The decoration, the room, the dining table, the breakfast, the style, ... everything relieved my stress.

So the pictures of blue forest lane B&B look very nice indeed. The attitudes of the owners leave a lot to be desired and honestly the food wasn't that good at all...very overrated but it was passable for a night as I planned on getting a room elsewhere the next day. 20 minutes after lights out as I was falling asleep I felt several stinging bites....bedbugs. I immediately got up and left and threw all my clothing in the garbage as BB can hitchhike on your luggage...best avoided in my opinion.The rooms smelt musky and had a fair amount of dust throughout

Wow! First off, Brent & Wanda were wonderful hosts. We were travelling across Canada in the middle of winter, heading from BC to Nfld. We spent Christmas here at Blue Forest Lane B&B in Halifax, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were not only stunning and extravagant, but so very tasty and nourishing. And the conversations with both Brent & Wanda were always comfortable and genuine.
Our suite was gorgeous, large and a favourite stay of ours. And even though our hosts had a large family gathering for Christmas, it was silent in our room. We would not hesitate to stay at the beautiful Blue Forest Lane B&B again, and in fact look forward to our next visit there.

Very impressive and immaculate bed and breakfast. Friendly, heartful hosts, amazing gardens and landscaping, and beautiful home decor. House is located in a quiet neighborhood, very peaceful. The owners used to have an art distributing company, and I believe one or both of them are artists themselves, which helps you better appreciate the incredible decor and detail around the home. The breakfast was phenomenal, with French press coffee and gourmet crepe. We stayed in the garden room and it came with a big jacuzzi tub. Highly recommend this beautiful, character stay while in the Halifax area!

We recently returned from our east coast vacation. What a beautiful holiday. Even though we ended the last few days hunkered down thru Fiona.||||We were so fortunate to start our holiday by staying at Blue Forest Lane. Brent and his wife were absolutely amazing from the time we walked in until we left. Our room was the garden room. HUGE. They have kept the ambience of the home, beautiful.||Brent was a host to the nth degrees, always made sure his guests were comfortable at the breakfast table , chatting and sharing their holiday experiences. Then off to the kitchen to present us with fabulous breakfasts.||Thank you for starting our vacation with the feeling of welcome and warmth.||Note: take a leisurely walk thru the garden- gorgeous

Very nice B&B close to Halifax in a quiet neighbourhood. Brent and Wanda are wonderful hosts. The garden room we stayed in is really big with large open bathroom making you feel spoiled.
Breakfast was very good with freshly prepared ingredients by our host.
