We heard about Blue Rocks from a Facebook post and decided that we should check the area out on Labour Day to see if the waters were as calm as they say - it turned into such a phenomenal experience and we are so glad that we took a chance!

The water is beautiful, calm and perfect for kayaking/paddle boarding and boating in general. There are tons of little inlets, islands and it is just an incredible place to spend the day exploring. If your lucky, you may even be followed around by the seals and get to watch them play.

The sunsets are absolutely incredible on the water, and by far its been the best place to get out on the ocean water!

We went Kayaking here. Lovely location. The archipelago of islands is a great protected body of water, relatively shallow & a safe place for novice paddlers. Our guide was friendly & informative. We saw birds & some sweet seal noses poking out of the water & a fabulous sunset. Highly recommended

breathtaking scenery, I felt like I was in a movie of something. if you love rocks...I found them! I was approached by locals making sure my cat and I weren't planning on parking the RV there for the night. ( we weren't, we had another boondocking place in mind) we like to here so much that we returned to the following day.

Blue Rocks is a hidden gem that offers breathtaking scenery and a tranquil escape. It's a picturesque coastal village that is truly a paradise for photographers and outdoor enthusiasts. Kayaking the calm waters and exploring the numerous islands is a must-do activity, foggy mornings are my absolute favourite time to kayak in Blue Rocks. It is so quiet, the only sounds are sea birds and paddles dipping into the water. The unique rock formations and glowing yellow seaweed add to the charm of this beautiful place. Early mornings with the sun rising from the ocean = pretty spectacular. Worth getting up for I promise!

Easy to find . Followed the road signs. Free parking on one side of road. Very old rustic buildings. The road ends at a kayak rental store. Excellent view of ocean.
No restaurants, no washrooms.

Located on a rocky shore, this village offers plenty of kayaks for rent for those who want to paddle along the coast and venture to the other side of the island. The village also provides fishing equipment and opportunities to explore its historic lighthouse, as well as the option to spend a day kayaking.

Beautiful views and scenery. Visited during the rain and misty fog, which made for some great pictures. Highly recommend the drive off the beaten path to see this beautiful area.
