From the moment we walked into Bow & Stern Abbotsford, we were impressed by the warm, cozy atmosphere. The rustic nautical theme gives it a unique charm, and it strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. It felt like the kind of place you could settle into and enjoy a great evening with friends or family.

I ordered the steak and shrimp, and both were cooked to absolute perfection. The steak was tender and juicy with a beautiful sear, and the shrimp had just the right amount of seasoning and texture. My friend had the salmon, and they were blown away by how fresh and flavorful it was—perfectly flaky with a delicious, well-balanced glaze. You can really tell they care about the quality of their ingredients and preparation.

The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Our server made great recommendations and checked in at just the right times without being intrusive.

I’m the kind of person who doesn’t try new things including food places as I’m stubborn and would hate to spend my money and not like the food so I stick to what I know …
My wife and I randomly attended the restaurant tonight after finding it on google breaking my own rule of not trying new things hahaha .

We got lucky after walking in rite after the rush said the greeter. we got seated rite at the window a table for 2 very quickly.

We had the jumbo prawn and calamari to start both where presented very well, the prawns where very large.

For our mains we had the steak & lobster and the salmon. Everything was delicious

Great service , great environment and amazing food. We will be back !

One of the best seafood restaurants in Abbotsford. The warm and welcoming ocean-inspired dining experience was amazing. Fresh food, excellent ingredients, nice services and charming atmosphere.A good time and memorable experience. Highly recommended.

It was our very first time to visit District 1881 and this awesome restaurant.
We were searching where to go for late lunch and decided to give it a try at Bow and Stern.
Since none of us drink lately, we needed some place for ‘food & family time’, than ‘drinks’.
We were greeted by friendly staffs at the front and sitted near the entrance, but it was not cold or chill as there was not so much people walking in and out.
For nearly ten minutes, nobody seemed interested in serving our table, until this great wonderful server, SARAH V. came and made our day with very smoothly professional and detail oriented serving skills. She was very polite and gentle even to my 9 years old son.
She offered another glass of pop I was drinking and she already kept it behind her and surprised me! What a sense of accomplishment of her! Food we ordered tasted all good and again, Sarah was the biggest portion of our priceless family time.
Of course I don’t know the owner(s) of this restaurant, but I can tell for sure they are super fortunate that Sarah is the part of this team and we were her lucky happy guests.
We will visit this restaurant for another great time and memorable experience.

I came here for lunch to celebrate with a friend. The atmosphere was great, our server was fun and on top of it, and our food and drinks were excellent. I had lobster poutine and it did not disappoint! I would recommend this place and will absolutely be back!

Bow & Stern is an elegant-looking restaurant with great food and service.

I had their Salmon Cake Entree and I thought everything was delicious. It came with a green salad with vinegar dressing that was good, seasoned buttered vegetables that tasted better than expected and pretty piquant mashed potatoes. The salmon cakes were pretty good on its own, even when paired with the cocktail and tzatziki sauce that came with it.

I also had their Oyster Shot, which was interesting to say the least. I did have their raw oysters during the Happy Hour period, and they were pretty good for an appetizer. When I went back for Brunch, I had their Chicken & Waffles from their brunch menu, and it was overall enjoyable. The coffee there was acceptable, although it is a little costly.

I adore the nautical-theme design of the restaurant while still maintaining sophisticated charm to it. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves seafood.

Two of us for lunch, sat in a nice quiet table in the back. Chairs comfy , waitress polite and efficient....The tuna melt with kimchi was really good!...just the right amount of heat. Excellent fries
