Our group of 19 coworkers had a wonderful time at Breakout Escapes. It was a very easy process to book the rooms and the workers were very friendly. Would highly recommend this location for a team building event/work social.

We have done two rooms here! The Hockey Night in Canada and Board Gamers Beware. Other reviews are correct and Leah is absolutely wonderful. She was helpful with explaining, and when we asked for clues she let us figure out what we could on our own but guided when needed. She also gave us a few extra minutes since no one else was there so we were able to escape!

Hockey Night was great - we went with four adults and two kids (8 and 9), and found that there was enough for all of us to do (and that the kids could participate in!). We didn't quite follow the linear nature of the room but luckily that didn't change the experience - we still got stuck on the last clue lol! We needed a hint but then escaped with less than a minute left.

Board Gamers Beware is the most difficult room, we went with our son who is 11 but loves escape rooms and board games (as do we). This room was VERY linear so in my opinion its difficulty comes from the puzzles but also the time constraint - if you get stuck there isn't much to do but get a hint. We were given extra time and escaped but NEVER would have without the extra time (and some clues)! There is a hint booklet on the wall but beware, sometimes the 'clue' is the answer so you have to be careful flipping through! A loss of star here because one puzzle we were stuck on had a wonky sensor - which we were helped with once we asked, but would have saved us some time because we got it right pretty quickly. One lock was also a 'locker' lock, and while we got the right combo almost immediately we weren't turning it properly lol! Thats on us, but would be very helpful to have a sticker with 'directions' on the back.

Absolutely blatant disrespect from the staff on the website, in person AND on the phone they Don’t tell you that you need someone 18 and older to sign off on participating or you can only pay with card and not cash Walking in immediately we felt uncomfortable and judged All the staff was and clearly didn’t have any respect for anybody
I tried to call to complain to the supervisor about the plane disrespect of their employees and took it as a joke when i called overall, this business has no respect for anybody but themselves absolutely ridiculous and so unethical… DONT GO HERE

It was fun. We did Dr Falcon's room. The first room takes place in the dark. There were 4 of us and they gave us only 2 flash lights. With 2 of our group being youths, they wanted the flashlights, which made it very difficult to actually solve anything in the room. It was still fun but would have been better if there were enough flashlights provided for the whole group.

We embarked on a thrilling journey from the US to Canada with one escape room goal in mind: conquering the hockey-themed escape room at Breakout Escapes! The experience was an absolute blast! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly, setting the stage for an unforgettable adventure.

The attention to detail in the escape room was impeccable, immersing us in the world of hockey from start to finish. Every clue, every puzzle, was cleverly crafted, keeping us engaged and challenged throughout.

What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional staff. Friendly, helpful, and passionate about ensuring we had the best time possible, they elevated the entire experience.

Leaving Breakout Escapes, we were already planning our return. Without a doubt, we'll be back next time we find ourselves in Canada, ready to embark on another thrilling escape room adventure. A huge thank you to the incredible team at Breakout Escapes for an unforgettable experience!

Can't speak for all of the rooms, but the hockey room was very linear with some broken/out of order puzzles. Kids had fun though.

Overall a fun and challenging experience. Staff were nice and room had a nice variety of puzzles, hints were readily available as well. I'm unsure if there was a group immediately after us (no one in the lobby?) but I would have appreciated a few extra minutes to try to solve what we were doing, or have the staff walk us through what we were missing.

The puzzles were good (when the combinations worked), and the staff was okay (when they were available to answer our hints), but I disagree with the number of people required in a room. After the first puzzle, four of our group stood around waiting while the fifth completed a puzzle or opened a lock. This opened one new puzzle for everyone to stand around and wait again. More simultaneous puzzles would be recommended.
