Malgré la période de pointe de la fête du Travail, Tonda, à l'accueil, a su nous accommoder pour une période de 4 jours, avant que nous reprenions le traversier. La chambre à l'étage (no 11) était impeccable, salle de bain entièrement rénovée et très propre, douche impeccable, le lit moelleux et confortable. Avec son accueil chaleureux, Tonda a su nous faire sentir chez nous. Comme des amis. En fait, on se sentait comme ses invités! Le petit déjeuner était impeccable, avec du vrai café (Tonda s'est enquise si nous l'aimions, car ils venaient de changer de produit), un bol de fruits généreux. Aussi, nous avons eu plusieurs bons conseils pour visiter la région. Super agréable, la brise est merveilleuse, et l'eau de Placentia est tout simplement délicieuse. Sûr que je le recommande à quiconque va dans cette région. Un must pour rester, et tout près du traversier. Merci encore à Tonda et Rose! Nous en gardons un excellent souvenir...

A fantastic hotel with the comfy feeling of being in an inn
Staff so friendly and helpful allowing one to do one’s washing was a big plus and decider on where to stay

A charming and wonderful experience. The room was clean and very comfortable with the same TV system we used at home in BC. The shower absolutely perfect. The staff are friendly and even though this is an old building there is an elevator. We loved our visit and very pleasantly surprised.

This is a very nice and clean hotel that offers and good quiet nights sleep. We only spent one night while traveling through the area but would have been very comfortable staying multiple nights. The staff is friendly and we enjoyed our stay there.

This 12 room hotel is absolutely perfect. Very well appointed, very comfortable, very good continental breakfast, exceptionally clean even has an elevator, not too bad for only a two floor hotel - as we said - perfect. The only thing better than the hotel itself, is the staff - especially Tonda who just happened to be working during our stay. She goes beyond in providing any help and information you may need. We only dealt with the other staff member briefly, but she seemed to be excellent as well. We also met the owners briefly and they also seemed excellent to deal with. Very highly recommended

If you are travelling in, or travelling through Placentia Nfld, this is the place to stay.|Our room was clean, quiet and totally updated. Location is central to the town and the harbour. The continental breakfast had a good variety of offerings with flexible hours.|The highlight of our visit was the warm welcome we received from Rita and Tondra. They also had great suggestions and information about the local area. It was delightful to chat with them throughout our stay.|True Newfoundland hospitality!

What a surprising gem to stay at! From the pictures I thought it looked like we would be staying on top of an old bar/hotel. Boy was I wrong! Fran was an absolute delight, easy going with typical Newfoundland hospitality! The price was excellent! The entire place has been updated! The room was great, clean and cozy! A help yourself breakfast in the morning was great to wake up to! I’m so glad we decided to stay here!!
