This place has been the highlight of our trip to Sussex. Jean is the most welcoming and warm hostess you can ask for. A truly amazing woman! The place is a historical house beautifully decorated and quiet. The breakfast was delicious, healthy, and the special croissant baked on time specially for each guest, a delight. Thank you so much for receiving us and showing us your garden and rabbits! We will definitely be back!!

We loved our stay at Brooks B&B. We arrived on our bikes and had a safe place to park them in the back. It is very handy to downtown Sussex. Try the nearby restaurant called 'Knocks Cafe' -- Excellent food! Brooks was built in 1902. The home has been well maintained and furnished with beautiful antiques. Jean has made it a point to learn as much as she can about the history of the building. Among her many talents, Jean has a green thumb. Every room in the house has beautiful plants. Her garden and porch area are also bursting with plants and flowers. You will be treated to a delicious breakfast every morning served in antique platters and bowls. Fresh warm croissants, boiled eggs, a variety of fresh fruit, yogourt...When we would leave for the day on our bikes, Jean would make sure we brought the bottled juice and some fruit with us. We spent a week here which gave us the opportunity to enjoy many conversations with Jean and John. They are friendly and welcoming and will take good care of you. We hope to have the chance to stay at Brooks B&B again.

Wonderful cozy place. Jean and John were so welcoming. Their home is very charming and architecturally stunning! Had wonderful conversations with Jean and breakfast was so delicious.
The bed was very comfortable. It felt like I was sleeping in my own house.

Really nice place with a beautiful architectural charm. century old home that had a fantastic history that the kind owner shared with us. A nice breakfast in the morning too. My wife and I loved our stay here for our honeymoon.
