I would like to apologize to the owner of the Budget Inn in downtown Hamilton Ontario Canada. I had a bad experience with something personal who made everything escalate and it made me angry with everything and I took it out on the Budget Inn. Luckily I was able to rent a room with them again a year later. I have realized that it was me who expected the staff to feel sorry for me for what I have been going through and experiencing as honestly they were just doing their best job. I didn't expect anything like that and I really appreciate their hospitality and customer service. As everyday I had clean sheets and towels, the staff very friendly and courteous making sure that I had everything I need. My issues really under no one's control. It was my responsibility to pay for the room and asking them to wait until I could make the payment wasn't their obligations. Sam and Monika really tried hard to ensure that our stay was pleasant and enjoyable and safe. From the bottom of my heart I thank you very much for everything and I wish you the Best. Thank you very much for helping me again.

Scummy Inside. Rooms don't have proper furniture......dressers falling apart. Pretty pricey for such a slum. Hamilton really needs to clean up their downtown area. It's getting worse by the day.

I want a full refund No Heat whatever the room was in horrible condition bathroom is destroyed no curtain and the people telling in the hallway.. I stayed at 207 January 25 2025 but NEVER AGAIN

Would literally give negative stars if I could.

First just flat out DO NOT STAY HERE. The rooms are CRAWLING with bugs. It’s literally infested.

Second, the staff is rude. Particularly one of the ladies. They have no care in the world about the actual establishment. Just want money. Prepare to be harassed even if you’re 5 mins late for payment if you even dare stay another night..

The only thing I’ll say if by whatever reason you are forced to stay here the upper rooms are significantly better than the lower ones.. which keep in mind they are all horrible and again CRAWLING with bugs.

This place literally should be bombed

I was in that hotel a couple weeks ago and it was my worst experience I ever had everything was so dirty a table was burned didn't even have lights the whole room didn't even had power 0/10🤮

I didn't feel save.
The staff was very rough and man. The signs say no smoking. But when I walked in it smelt like smoke.
The room was really dirty and it seemed like it hasn't been clean for ever. There were bed bugs.
Stains on everything the walls, the bedding, and the pillows. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

The room was outdated, smelt bad had to have the window open all night to stand the smell. within a couple minutes of being there we saw cockroaches climbing on the bed ! Then shortly after bed bugs. Tv only had 2 channels. When we told the front desk and showed photos of the bugs she didn’t even respond to me. Way overpriced considering how bad the rooms and service is. There’s other motels in Hamilton where you will have a way better experience for close to the same price. Would not recommend.
