I'd like to comment on service I received this morning. I was on my way to the city with my 3 young children when my power steering failed. Needless to say, it's quite stressful when things like this happen, let alone happening in the middle of a busy city with kids.

I was able to quickly sign up for a CAA membership, which the woman on the phone was very efficient knowing I was in a pickle at that moment.

A Tow Driver named BRENT met us in the parking lot on within 30 minutes this morning. But before he did that, he called me letting me know he was on his way and not to worry. To have someone call you in those moments makes all of the difference. He was so reassuring When he arrived, he was an incredibly kind person. He loaded our van up in just minutes. There was no nonsense and he took care of everything.

I just wanted to point this out to you as it is sometimes hard to find exceptional customer service these days. Brent was beyond that. Your company is so very lucky to have someone like him that will go beyond the minimum to comfort people in stressful situations

So I decided to be a CAA member. I went in to buy my membership and was told I could not have my membership unless I was willing to give them my banking information even though I was willing to pay it for the year out front. So the only thing that makes me think is these guys are crooked and they plan on taking money out of your account that they're not permitted to have. If it's already paid in full, they shouldn't have to have any reason to have my banking information. I hope somebody soon starts up another roadside assistance because this is a total and complete crooked company only a crooked company would force you to give your banking information when the services are already paid for up front. If they plan on taking payments out of your account that they're not permitted to have, this is a terrible way to do things. It's absolutely disgusting

I had an outstanding experience with Brent, a tow truck driver from CAA. From the moment he arrived, his professionalism, kindness, and genuine care were clear. He made a stressful situation feel manageable and even pleasant. He was not only efficient with the tow, but incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire process.

He welcomed me into his truck, made sure I was comfortable, and even opened the door for me like a true gentleman. While handling everything on his own, he also took the time to look up battery prices for me and explained their installation services. That kind of attention and effort is rare and deeply appreciated.

What truly stood out was how much he cared. He treated me and my car with respect and went far beyond what anyone would expect from a tow service. It’s not every day you meet someone who takes such pride in their work and genuinely wants to help.

Update: I was contacted and provided a $50+tax credit after posting this review. I have upgraded to 3 star because I was compensated but had to try multiple attempts to even get a response at all. Their staff requires training on how to treat customers as the customer should not be blamed for the staff mistakes. In my opinion, if they misinform, then they should have made it right rather than having the customer chase down a contact. I have kept my membership because of being compensated. I am hoping if I need them again, everything goes smoothly. Original post below.

I purchased the CAA premier service based on the towing distance to get my vehicles back home in the event they left me down. I had a vehicle that was broke down and I was looking to get it towed to my residence as it is kept there during the winter months and I would repair it myself over the winter. I had called CAA and asked if this was something that was covered and was told "yes". After trying to arrange the tow I was then told that it isn't covered and has to be towed to a repair facility. This was frustrating since I was told different, and the way I was treated was completely unprofessional. I was even more surprised that when I said, "since I do 90% of my own repairs that maybe this service isn't for me". I was told "probably not". I know numerous people who have had a vehicle towed to their residence. The conversation was clear that they were blaming me even though I was misinformed by there own staff. I thought this offered a piece of mind when traveling but my first and only experience was completely unacceptable and left me doubting they would be there if i needed them again. I have I reached out to PR and also the CAA ombudsman and after a week I still haven't received a response. Not even an acknowledgement. I expected to be contacted and some effort to be made to apologize at the very least. I had to make alternate plans (even though i have a membership) to get the car home. I guess she was right, it isn't for me.

Hello I don't know why you guys are giving these guys such a good review because they're terrible insurance company take your money I've had a claim going for almost weeks I still have no decision the insurance adjuster her name is Kellie is useless, I was with TD insurance for over 20 Years I never had problems like this I might have to call them 5 times but if you're thinking about getting insurance stay away from CA they're not there to help you they're a terrible I mean be on terrible insurance company so take your money and pay your claims they're one of the top 3 insurance companies out there why do you think the rates are so low because they don't pay their claims if you were smart you'd stay far far away from these guys

CAA has been great with policy pricing. Cut my auto and content insurance in half from a company I'd been with for years without claims. Its just kept rising and I called CAA and they quoted me by half! Plus with membership you get insurance discounts and road side assistance and free towing. Well worth the switch! They also insure off road vehicles!

My first time ever with CAA as I always figured I would never need,, however today I did. My initial call to the Company was handled to the fullest of degrees unimaginable and to the employee whom came to my assistance was beyond being Fantastic. My experience with this company and the driver was unlike I ever expected. My wife and myself Thank You All for such an amazing service. Great,,,just Great👍👍👍👍👍

I stopped in to obtain an international driver's permit before a trip to Europe.

Service was friendly though it took a while to be acknowledged by anyone. They were busy but I definitely felt invisible until someone not behind the counter, but at a desk offered me assistance.

Registering for the permit, I asked them about the benefits of membership and if it would be advantageous to my permit registration. I ended up getting a newer class of membership that does not offer roadside assistance since my car comes with that. Instead, I get the discounts which may be beneficial in the long run. Time will tell.

On the plus side, no pressure to sign up for membership. On the minus, I had to pry that information from them. It's like they don't want members!
