Truly a hidden gem!
The cabins on the lake are cozy and very well kept. The on site owners are a pleasure to get to know and ensure you have a wonderful stay.
Never disappointed at call of the North. Truly a unique and wonderful vacation each year.

This was by far the best fishing trip I have ever had. The cabin on the water was amazing also. I would love to make it back again soon. Thanks Joe and Paula for the excellent experience. Your hospitality was very much appreciated. See you again soon.

Everything was great until they had our groups $8022 hunt costs. Then the real owners came out. Everything that Paula told us would be okay, suddenly wasn't okay, even though all prior communication was done through saved email. When you run a quality operation RETURNING guests is the telltale sign you are doing it right. Not a single person we spoke with in camp had ever been there, or was coming back ever again. Do yourself a HUGE favor and book elsewhere. This place has been for sale for years, but they cant sell it because all the locals know the operations reputation is in the gutter. Paula and Joe, please take this friendly advice from someone in customer service. Learn how to treat the people who pay your bills and put food on your table. If you hate life, do everyone a favor and walk away!

My husband goes here every year to Bear hunt and has always got his bear! I went with him last time and loved being able to relax in the modern cabin on the lake shore or go for a swim on the beautiful beach while he was hunting. The resort is so clean and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience while visiting this unique property with my Dad! Joe and Paula are wonderful hosts, and have three decades of knowledge and experience to make a memorable excursion for all to enjoy!! I would highly recommend Call of the North and hope to visit again!

Rustic, but homey. Very welcoming. Did not hunt, but rather enjoyed a week long getaway. It was just what we needed. I usually stay at all-inclusive resorts when away from home so that is my frame of reference. Overall, very nice.

Paula & Joe are wonderful hosts, Joe is an excellent guide, works hard in the bush,, bagged a 460 lb. black bear with my compound bow thanks to Joe's effort.. Doesn't get any better than this. Paula is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.
