If you want to learn how to fly fish, Jeff is your guy! Myself and two friends who have zero fly fishing skills, met with Jeff on a river bank in Thornbury and after 3 hours we left with the knowledge, skills and confidence of a newly inspired fly fisherman!! Jeff was very friendly, informative, and truly hands on with his teaching methods. I recommend Jeff to anyone who wants to learn how to fly fish. I can't wait to get my own fly fishing gear and find the nearest river!!! Thanks again Jeff!!!

Jeff was a great guide for both my husband and myself on our first time trying fly fishing. He is incredibly patient and makes it look easy. We were able to catch 3 fish in total after getting in the water and practicing for a bit. It was an excellent time and a beautiful day on the river!

We went out today with Jeff and had an amazing day. Bite was slow but he figured it out. I feel much more confident about my fishing after wards and it was overall a great experience.

Had a fantastic experience fly fishing for the very first time. Jeff made the entire trip an absolute joy, he’s a great teacher and gently guided us through learning how to cast and fish with a fly rod. If you’re thinking of getting into fly fishing I definitely recommend taking a tour with him!

Jeff took a few of us out on the river and introduced us to flyfishing. None of us had done this before and it was a great time. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable and a great instructor and I highly recommend. Will be going out with him again for sure.

My son and I had fly fishing lessons with Jeff. We never picked up a fly rod before.
Excellent guide. Taught us a lot about the flies and what the fish are eating.
We were able to cast within minutes and my son was catching trout.
Jeff was patient and kind and answered so many of our questions.
If you want to learn about the spots to catch fish on the river or to learn about fly fishing call Jeff.
My son and I had a wonderful time.

Absolutely a Top Instructor/Guide. My Husband and I started with a couple of lessons from Jeff Parks and we had the best days out on the Grand River. Couldn't recommend Jeff more, he is patient, knowledgable and entertaining. Get hooked into Calmwaters Fly Fishing.
