Camp Narrows offers such variety for hunting and fishing opportunities due to the isolated nature of the camp. We have hunted bear, ducks and grouse and have been successful every time. The abundance of smelt make all of the fish heavier per length than any location I have fished in Ontario, Wisconsin or Minnesota. This is the only place that you have the opportunity to catch 28” walleye, 38” pike, 20” smallmouth and 15” crappie on the same day. Tom makes the camp feel more like a family reunion rather than a fish camp and it is only 40 minutes from the border. Add to that a very reasonable rate and good cabins with new renovations and you have the perfect destination.

Always a great time at Camp Narrows! Tom and his knowledgeable staff are both helpful and laid back. If you're expecting daily maid service and a mint on your pillow, you should look elsewhere. But, if you want a clean, comfortable cabin right on the water with a dock up to your door, then this might be the place for you. Good fishing and the natural beauty of "sunset country" Ontario. Consider buying a conservation license, and please observe slot sizes and catch limits. Rainy Lake is an outstanding fishery that needs responsible anglers to help preserve it for future generations.

This was my first experience with Camp Narrows. It came highly recommended to me and it did not disappoint! The amenities were superb. The fishing was fantastic. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Because of the location, you truly feel like you are right on the water while the cabins gave us some nice luxuries that I wasn't expecting (modern showers, kitchen, beds, etc.). The week went by too quickly, but the memories will last a lifetime. Congratulations to Tom and his team for creating an atmosphere that I can't wait to book again!

I have fished Rainy Lake for the past 29 years, the last 22 or so, have been at Camp Narrows Lodge. This is nicest "remote" (boat access only) lodge on the lake. Tom is a great host and does everything he can to make your stay enjoyable. Camp Narrows is located in the middle of some of the best Bass, Walleye, Northern and Crappie fishing on the lake. I see many of the same visitors year after year so that's got to say something.

We had a group of 4 fishing at Camp Narrows Lodge last June, 2014. This was just before the real big rains hit. We had the time of our life. It was some of the best fishing we have had in Canada. We would limit out each day, and catch some larger fish for both Northern and Walleye. Tom took real good care of us and made sure all of our needs were met. It is a bit of a boat ride across Rainy Lake to get to Camp Narrows, but it is well worth it. I would recommend staying at Camp Narrows for both young and old alike. Happy Fishing.

I've been going to Camp Narrows Lodge to fish twice a year for a dozen years. Once, in early July and again in early September. The lodge cabins are top notch, clean, fully stocked and convenient. Boat docking is only a few feet from your cabin door with electricity for battery charging at dockside. The staff is friendly and helpful in regard to fishing techniques and best areas to fish for the various species. In these dozen years, we have not had a single bad trip in regard to catching bass , walleyes, or northern pike. Rainy Lake is one of, if not the best multi-species lake in North America. Come check Camp Narrows and Rainy Lake out if you like to fish. The visual experience you will have is special also. You will most likely see deer, bear, eagles, pelicans, possibly a moose, beavers and lots and lots of smaller animals as well as spectacular rock formations and boreal greenery.

I have been coming up to Camp Narrows since 1993 and the fishing has been stellar for smallmouth bass, northern, walleye and crappie. The class size of fish in all species is simply incredible. You have a better than average chance of catching a trophy or personal best fish on this body of water. I fish often and have caught my personal best fish in each of the 4 species above at Camp Narrows. The camp itself is amazing with all the modern amenities and the scenery is outstanding along with all the wildlife. Bring enough bait or lures because you will need them!
