Writing a review for a wine tour we took in April 6th. A rainy day but pretty much any day is a good day for a wine tour, in my opinion. Our guide, Kim, was fantastic - knowledgeable, fun and a good driver, just a super nice person who we'd enjoy hanging out with. Bonus, a fellow transplant from Ablerta.

Wine is like food, to each their own, just because I don't like Brussel sprouts doesn't mean you won't. So go visit and see for yourself 😀

Our first stop was Cherry Point, a beautiful little winery that still holds onto the charm we see washed out of the bigger ones that have been taken over by our of country owners. The wine was superb, all were well balanced with several favourites, we left with a case because we loved them all. The owner Xavier was very nice and I appreciated his passion for his art.

Blue Grouse was our 2nd stop, a larger scale winery that seems to be growing rapidly (?). Not my first visit here, I've written a review for them before, a couple of top notch wines but most are average. The tasting room and setting are beautiful, we had a wonderful charcuterie, the staff were all fantastic, knew the wines well and were friendly.

Enrico Winery, our 3rd and final stop, offers a pleasant experience with a good selection of wines and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. A nice spot for a casual visit and to dip your toe into some local wines.

We had a awesome time on our Cowichan wine tour! Our first stop was Cherry Point Estate Wines, which was the best!!! Their Oswego wine was unique and should not be skipped. Our tour guide, Kim, was amazing and very tolerant of our late bathroom runs . She encouraged our van-wide renditions of Simply Red, Abba and Whitney Houston songs. The other two wineries, Enrico Winery and Unsworth Vineyards are both very picturesque and we had a great time.

Cowichan Valley Wine tour - Our tour guide, Scott, was fantastic as he showed tons of enthusiasm and shared his knowledge about each of the wineries we visited. Although, the wines from Blue Grouse winery tasted delicious, the service was cold hearted and our group felt very unwelcomed. We felt safe in the tour van and Scott was very patient and accommodating throughout our journey.

Wonderful experience touring Cowichan Valley wineries. Appreciated seeing three, all very different and unique tasting experience (esp. Cherry Point where owner Javier was so passionate about the land, his product and a priceless personality!). Kim was an excellent driver and guide, warm and knowledgeable and provided a lovely experience. We would have liked a bit more information about the area and what we were seeing during the drive, but overall a fabulous experience. Thank you Kim and Canadian Craft Tours!! ❤️

We had a wonderful time going on a wine tour up island for my partner’s birthday. Our driver, Kim, was a consummate professional - catered to our needs, took our photos, gave us the rundown on each winery, kept us to our schedule while helping to allow for minor unavoidable delays and most important of all, gave us AUX on the bus 😎

Pick-up and dropoff were timely and everybody left the bus grinning.

The wineries we went to offered a great selection, and each had their own charm, it was a really great and diverse lineup and a fantastic way to see multiple in one day.

Highly recommend and thank you to Kim for a wonderful day!

We scheduled a last-minute private wine tasting in the Cowichan Valley and were very impressed with this company, and especially our guide Emily. Emily was a great combination of friendly and personable, but also knew when to give us a little bit of space. She took us to three wonderful wineries. All of the staff at the wineries were knowledgeable about their wines, and we loved every minute! The booking agents were informative and very willing to give us a tailored experience. We’ll definitely use them again! Thanks Emily!
