The tour with Laura was spectacular! We were provided with great breakfast pastries, drinks and snacks. She showed us the beautiful views of Johnston Canyon. She was very patient with us and our 5 year old. I would definitely recommend any tour with the Canadian Rockies Experience.

Our family of three had the best day snowshoeing with our guide, Matt. Every part of this adventure was enjoyable. Matt started the day picking us up at our rental condo, in a comfortable vehicle, stocked with drinks and snacks. The mountain scenery was absolutely incredible both in transit and during the snowshoeing. We were well prepared for the cold, both because of recommendations from the company, and from provisions provided by Matt. We enjoyed hiking with Matt. He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and just super fun to hang out with. All of us would HIGHLY recommend this experience.

My husband and I did 3 tours with Canadian Rockies Experience during our trip to Banff for our babymoon. Every single one was amazing! We did the night tour with Marcelo where we went to Lake Louise. He was very knowledgeable with different flora and fauna as well as the history of the lake. We then did 2 tours with Jeff. The first tour was the Abraham Lake Tour (full day), which we loved. Not only was that lake amazing, we stopped at other locations along the way which broke up the trip and allowed us to see others. They provided drinks, snacks, and lunch which was great. The second tour we did with Jeff was the Johnston Canyon which was breathtaking. Jeff was super knowledgeable about everything we had questions on and he made everything super special by taking multiple pictures for us at every stop. Laura was great at communicating before and during the tours. The website was also super easy to navigate and book. We have absolutely nothing negative to say and can’t wait to use them again in the future.

Our trip with Canadian Rockies Experience was incredible. Laura was so helpful with the planning stage, even helping us change some components a few days before we were booked to go! The tour itself was so well planned out and comfortable - great snacks and packed lunch, the car was roomy and the driving was safe. Matt, our guide, was very knowledgable and helpful, and made sure we had a fun time. The tour of Abraham lake was magical and our guide was so passionate and lovely. Definitely recommend touring with Canadian Rockies Experience.

We had the most amazing Twilight tour with Matt. He was really friendly and knowledgeable. The lakes were simply breathtaking. It was worth every penny to not have to wait for shuttles and join the queues. The meal at the Station was really nice with a good selection. We would 100% recommend Canadian Rockies Experience to everyone.

My wife and I experienced the trans-Canada rail vacation through Canada Rail vacations. The train travel experience was outstanding but what added even more to our wonderful experience were the private tours arranged through CR. One of the private tours was of the Kananaskis Country and the Peter Lougheed Provincial park with Simi with Canadian Rockies Experience. A great tour and one that was a fortunate day filled with wildlife encounters. The tour started out right away seeing a huge bull elk grazing next to the road. As we got into the Provincial park which is a fantastically beautiful, scenic area that runs parallel to Banff area and in many ways as scenic if not more scenic than the Banff area. This is a must do tour to this beautiful area. Saw mountain sheep a couple of times, a prairie jay that was only a few feet away and the grand highlight was about a ten minute encounter near a grizzly bear (from inside our vehicle of course!!) that was busy lumbering along eating to get ready for winter. Amazing tour with Simi!! Great guide, great tour, great experience. Highly recommend and put Kananaskis Country on your “must see” list when visiting this area! A highlight of our trip!

We knew when planning our first ever trip to Alberta and B.C., we wanted to book a day where as a family we could sit back, enjoy the view, learn about our surroundings and fully immerse ourselves in the wonder of the Rockies. The Canadian Rockies Experience tour was everything we had wished for and more. From the amazing service prior to with Laura, to the outstanding guiding by Antony - we will never forget the sites and stories included in our tour. This tour took us to some surprise places, some of the most famous places (Moraine Lake & Lake Louise) and even to another province - B.C. (Yoho Park + Takakkaw Falls). Antony made sure that the tour focus was tailored to our priorities and that our side-of-a-waterfall picnic lunch was both delicious and immersive.

Take it from an adventurous family of 4, booking a private tour when visiting the Rockies is an absolute must and booking it with the Canadian Rockies Experience is worth every single penny.

Thanks Laura, Antony & team, we will have memories now that will last us all our lifetime!
