First off, Keely at the desk is amazing! Even on crutches, she personally brought up extra pillows to help make my baby comfortable!

Very nice beds, clean sheets, really cool key cards. Also interesting how the cards are inserted for power, assuming to save energy when not there? Super cool concept!

The hot breakfast was also very nice to have included.

Would stay here any time I’m in Cochrane! I made a last minute reservation and they found me a very cozy room when no one else in town would.

Very good locations for travelers that wanted to have a quiet place to stay. The room and washroom are clean. The receptionist Christine is very hospitable. It is a kids friendly hotel as well. They have an area where kids can play table game and arcade game. The breafcast is excellent.

A Delightful Stay at Canalta Cochrane I recently stayed at the hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making check-in a breeze. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed that made my stay comfortable. The bed was exceptionally cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep.
The hotel’s facilities were the pool area was clean and inviting. The location was perfect, conveniently close to commercial area and some fast food restaurants which made exploring the area so easy.
What stood out most was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met, from providing local recommendations to promptly addressing any requests. I also appreciated the little touches, like seamless Wi-Fi connection.
Overall, my stay at Canalta exceeded expectations, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable hotel experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Outstanding. Room was clean, comfortable, spacious. Breakfast was terrific as was our wonderful girl who looked after the breakfasts. I’m truly sorry that I forgot her name but she was amazing. Will 100% stay here again. Beautiful hotel.

The rooms were really clean, and updated! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! I’m a person that notices the details and I need to have a clean room when staying in a hotel. I had an awful experience during my 1 night stay in this hotel. Wanted to enjoy the pool but there was a bunch of kids from a hockey team screaming the whole time. While I understand this isn’t the hotels fault. But the lady at the front desk yesterday refused to say anything to the kids. These gets were whipping towels around, banging the signs really loud. Going down the slide like 4 at a time. When I wanted to complain there was no way to contact the manager. Then the kids continued to play mini sticks in the hallway until late. Again i know it comes down to the kids fault, and the parents, however the hotel refused to do anything. All the lady at the front said was “they paid they can do what they want”

I booked through Booking.com and the total price shown was CAD $1,310. However, the hotel charged me CAD $1,349 without any prior notice. When questioned, they claimed it was a 3% Destination Marketing Fee (DMF), which was never mentioned during booking.

This is clearly misleading and felt like a hidden fee. I had to spend a lot of time dealing with support, and the experience was very frustrating. Be careful.
