This was a comfy laid back hotel. Pool was great for my Granddaughter and workout room for my friends! Staff was pleasant and professional and shared in a Coffee Cake we busted open for ourselves.
Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. I brought my own pillows!

I am half way through a 3 day stay and I am loving it. The staff is very nice. The pool, hot tub and steam room are excellent. The free breakfast has scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausages, pancakes, bagels, toast, pastries, cereal, 3 kinds of juice and coffee and it runs till 10 am.

Our room is clean and spacious. The blackout curtains are a bonus.

Only complaint I have is that the TV is small and doesn't allow you to use YouTube or any streaming services even if you have your own subscription.

I come to Canalta often for work and I'm very satisfied with the overall level of the hotel. I want to highlight the superb service Dee provides, she's always so kind that makes your day go better, and the breakfast room is always properly attended with her. Keep up the good work!

We stay in a lot of hotels and this was one of the definite good ones. It was super clean, nicely updated, comfortable, and met all of our needs. Even the breakfast was good, and I’m usually grossed out by a hot breakfast at hotels. Highly recommend!

I have to say I was disappointed with my experience. There was excessive noise in the hallway throughout both nights and to make matters worse very noisy early in the morning at 6-8 am.
Also had alarm clock wake us up the first night as the previous guest must of set it the night before , that was very disappointing and my wife couldn’t go back to sleep after our late arrival the night before . We also complained to front desk and are compliant was barely acknowledged, let alone any kind of compensation provided .
The sauna was in pretty rough shape , looks pretty run down and takes a while to heat up .
Positives was the breakfast, I enjoyed that . The lady running the breakfast was super accommodating and friendly. I also enjoyed how spacious and clean the rooms were
I definitely feel like it was an overall underwhelming stay .

When we arrived, we entered the room and it was clearly not clean. There were crumbs of food on the floor, spilt juice on the nightstand, and leftover garbage beside the bed.

We immediately contacted the front desk to have someone come up and clean. As we waited, we picked up the garbage and cleaned the nightstand.

As it turns out, just outside our room this entire time we're 2 cleaning staff. They were in the hallway talking the entire time, after 20 minutes 1 of them came in to vacuum the crumbs off the floor.

The next morning, we went to use the hair dryer and it was not working. Called the front desk and were advised, there are no replacements - essentially told we are out of luck.

It was only after pushing and pushing that they finally agreed to look around and call back. After some time, they brought us a new hair dryer.

I would say the experience was subpar at best. The staff did not seem to care and were generally not very helpful.

I would not recommend this hotel to friends and family.

This was our 1st time visiting Manitoba and it was an awesome experience.
The staff was super friendly, Pool was clean and breakfast was very good and was kept stocked during the busy morning rush, Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet.
Lots of parking and the hotel is located in a good part of town close too restaurants and stores
We will definitely be staying here in the future
