As always, great and quaint experience at CANUSA. It really is a slice of paradise and the experience on a pristine island is special. Highly recommend! Cottages are always clean and well maintained. Temagami lake is very clear and great fishing. The beach and dock are are my favourite spots on the island while the kids love the well maintained volleyball/basketball court. Good times!

Spent a very memorable week here with my girlfriend in Pinewood #3. Fully equipped, nicely rustic with speedy WIFI if needed, the perfect size for two adults. Very quite, well distanced cabins, large privet deck on the lakes edge with a great view, equipped with chairs, BBQ and 2 full spare propane tanks. Left side of dock was able to comfortably accommodate an 1875 Lund @ 3.6' depth off the stern. Located close but not too close to the launch which can be and was very convent. Filling up at the on site marina is easy; well priced zero ethanol fuel. The fish cleaning hut is located behind Pinewood and is fully equipped. Nelson and Brenda are amazing people, they've put a lot of time and hard work into maintaining the cabins, island and providing guests with a slue of different amenities. I'm grateful for them and look forward to staying here again.

Absolutely One of the best vacations our family has enjoyed. We rented 2 cabins for the the week, they were clean and spotless, A bonus was there was satellite TV, We could watch the blue jays, Fully equipped kitchen , and a BBQ.just bring your own food.
Each cabin has an awesome view of the lake, sunsets and sunrises are amazing, each cabin has their own dock, bring your own own boat.
It's situated on an Island in lake Temagami with crystal clear water.
There also is a sandy beach, diving board, water slide and firepit to enjoy. Oh Yeah I forgot the volley ball court , basketball net and horseshoe's pit. There is more, Hot tub,
Shoot I forgot the fishing, lots of Bass , pickerel and lake trout if your good.
The owners Nelson and Brenda are gracious and helpful hosts,
Yes , we booked for next year, cant wait

Just got back, kids didn't want to leave!||||Stunning nature very well worth the long ride from Toronto, the lake is the cleanest I've seen so far, great fishing, awesome hiking nearby - do rent a boat! ||||The owners are the sweetest people. Cottages are kept clean and well equipped. Little beach is perfect - a slide, shallow area with clean sand, deck chairs and recliners, nice spacious hottub with a great view. ||||We've had a wonderful week, kids had a blast, thank you Canusa!

Located 18 km southwest of Temagami town and a short 500 yards from the boat launch, you get a head start into the heart of fishing country. Bonus: they sell Avgas because the owner is a pilot! 7 well maintained, clean and comfortable lodges with Bell satellite, BBQ, lots of hot water, baseboard heaters and clean kitchen. Brenda has thought of everything and Nelson as an electrician has everything laid out practically and safely. We stayed in lodge 6 Westpoint that can sleep 6 and faces west. There is a separate, clean, organized fish cleaning kitchen hut. Privacy is good between docks. Worthwhile to buy a map from the office so you can navigate the numerous channels and bays. Temagami is a quiet and unspoiled jewel with peaceful fishermen and families gliding by in houseboats. The owners are friendly and helpful and very hardworking to make you comfortable. We will be back!

Flew in a couple days ago, and stayed overnight. Great stay with a wealth of information from the owner. Cabins are exactly as they were 30 years ago, loved it. Fantastic BBQ and Deck right on the lake's edge. Cabin was super comfortable and very clean and everything was very safe. Stayed out on our private dock at night and saw the Milky Way and millions of stars, priceless. Filled up with aviation fuel before we left, Can't wait to return next year. Thank you.

I am familiar with lake Temagami so I already knew that it's a beautiful lake, worth the drive from the GTA, but I had never stayed at a cottage there. Throughout the booking process, the owner was prompt in emailing me back and answering all of my questions. When we arrived, they were extremely helpful and kind. Whenever a problem arouse they fixed it immediately. They taxied a friend back when he left something in the car. They took us out on their houseboat free of charge and made sure my friends had a good time. They even gave us some extra pickerel fillets for the BBQ. I did not want to leave! All of my friends had a lot of fun and thanked me for bringing them there but really they should have thanked the owners. I will definitely come back again!||(8 people, cottages 5 and 8, 4 nights/5 days)

We just returned yesterday from here....The host was very accommodating as we had had reservations at another resort and we made a big error and showed up on the wrong week for our reservation. This was the Canada Day long week-end and the lake resorts were all booked up....We tried several lodges to no avail. The host here at Canusa went above and beyond to make sure we had a place to stay. They hurried and cleaned the cabin for us as it had just been vacated and they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We stayed in cabin #8 and the view from the deck was stunning. The mature trees and the lake view were so soothing. The cabin was well outfitted and comfortable and the water pressure and amount of hot water was amazing. The heat worked very well and the cabin was well appointed. Honestly Canusa saved our vacation this year and I thank them very much...A happy camper 🙂
