Capri Motel - Port Colborne, Ontario

The rooms are a great size, bright warm and cozy, very clean. My wife loves the beds she says they are so soft and comfy that it feels like a warm hug and puts you to sleep. Staff is great and extremely helpful. Only minutes from anything you would want to do in town. We will continue to keep staying here like we always do a few times a month. If your looking for a great place to stay that's not to expensive then you have found it at the capri motel.

There is absolutely nothing fancy about this place. If it were camping it would be roughing it, NOT glamping. But is was an afordable place to stay when ìn Port Colborne very close to everything. The people were extremely nice and attentive.. They also are trying to fix up a very old place. Our bathroom was brand new and very very clean.

I visited the area for canal days and needed a room to stay with short notice. I didn't book this motel expecting the fairmont. There are some good reviews on here that I honestly think must be fake. Our room was dirty, just old and in rough shape. It had a very strong smell of cleaner or air freshener. We switch rooms and it was just as dated and disgusting. The air conditioner is a window unit held in place with duct tape, the furniture looks like it was picked up at a garage sale and the shower area had some mould and was a place a would want to shower. This room was $100 or so, which is easliy double what I would think I should be paying for this room. I certainly would never return here and hope you don't either.

I have found a Clean, Comfortable, Quiet, Affordable place in the Niagara area. Just minutes out of Welland Ontario, close to Niagara Falls, approximately 20 minutes by car, where the Hustle and Bustle of Traffic isn't as bad as Niagara Falls. The owners are quite nice people, and they are making some changes for their customers to enjoy their stay while in the area. I have had the opportunity to stay there a few times over the past 2 years, and have noticed the Changes and Improvements for their customers. I know that I thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet times I have experienced on my stays at the CAPRI Motel in Port Colborne Ontario. The affordability is another point that I enjoy, and I do plan on calling the CAPRI Motel whenever I am going to be in the area.

I really enjoy staying at the Capri Motel and have been a repeat guest
since 2012. Its ideally located to most amenities found in any big
town. The rooms are clean, well cared for, and if you have a problem,
they take care of it quickly. I enjoy the non-smoking environment,
the air conditioning, the quiet atmosphere and the competitive
pricing.
The new owners are just getting started in a new venture here and
it will be interesting watching new things beginning here at
the Capri.

Both my son and spouse are rowers. What I am looking for is good accommodation within distance of the South Niagara Rowing Club in Welland for attendance at regattas or training. For that purpose I have spent a great deal of time in the Welland and general Niagara region over the best decades in varying levels of accommodation. Rowing teams either find rooms at Brock University or at Niagara College for good economical accommodation. If you want anything else you are in a quandary. ||||The owners of the Capri motel appear to be a very nice immigrant family. They are trying very hard. It is also the worst place I have stayed in ever. The only upside was that it was clean. Otherwise, It needs a total renovation. It smelled. It may be currently non-smoking but the years it wasn't certainly show. Allowing renters to smoke immediately outside of motel units certainly doesn't help. So much for designated smoking areas. Tiles were peeling and the sink leaked and was falling off. The furniture was very worn. So was everything else. I have no idea how old the mattress was. I will not be staying at the Capri again.

The furniture (every single piece) is in varying states of disrepair. The rooms have a highly offensive odour upon entry that cannot be aired out. The air conditioner is falling out of the wall (in at least two rooms that we saw), the bathroom mirror was broken, and there were holes in the bathroom drywall and trim. We did not even risk using the tub as the state of it was actually shocking. The owners are trying, but the entire place needs to be scrapped and redone. We weren't expecting amazing accommodations from a motel in port colborne, but this place was unbelievably bad. The amount of positive reviews on here mislead us and other guests staying that night, we now know that the positive reviews are likely from the owners attempting to bolster their slipping bookings.

this place is a dump, there is old furniture and clutter in the front of the building, there are trash bags and clutter in the corner bend of the building. The room was clean, but the bed was broken, if you look underneath it it was sagging so uncomfortable. I slept on the floor it was so awful. For the $95.00 I spent here, I would have been better off paying $20 more for the one down the street and I would have gotten breakfast out of it! worst place I have ever stayed in
