We LOVED this hike! The way the trail is laid out you can make it nice and long, or you can walk directly to the cascades along the most direct route possible. It was a ton of fun to climb along the rocky riverbed. It was a beautiful day, so there were quite a few groups of people there in swimming suits playing in the water, which looked refreshing! Little kids would need heavy supervision, dogs seemed to be having fun, the casecades portion is probably not easy for people with ankle issues.

What a great spot this is. The trails are amazing and well groomed. We always love this for either a long hike or short one.

There are three trails. I took the blue (fastest to the falls) down and then wandered up (I think it was the orange trail)

Great break from the drive. Seems popular with the local teens as a bunch of them were hanging out at the water

Absolutely a jewel so close to the city. A great place to take a quick dip or stay for the day and suntan on the rocks. The trails are excellent and easy for most people to use.

The Cascades Conservation Area has some nice trails that are not too technical but also not too flat. The trails connect to Trowbridge Falls and Centennial Park. The highlight of the area is the Cascade Falls and rapids, a beautiful water feature running between exposed rock on either side of the river. Unfortunately you have to be very careful because there is alot of broken glass on the rocks.

Great place for a nature trail, riverside is kindy rocky but still very accessible. The river itself is nice and water is swimmable. I just hope they put on better signs at their trail, we got lost and had to go back to get to the trail that we want to take.
