Amazing stay!|This was our second stay at Rob and Lynn’s wonderful property. We booked all 3 suites because we were a larger group. Each suite is tastefully decorated and immaculate with very comfortable beds and beautiful showers. The views from the entire property are spectacular. The hot tub is a real treat. Rob and Lynn are readily available with helpful information about the area. You must treat yourself to lunch at Shirley Delicious and a pizza from Stoked! You won’t be disappointed.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! Rob is a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and always available to answer our questions. He also gave us some great local tips, which made our stay even better. The unit was spotless when we arrived, the views were stunning, and the location was perfect. My partner and I recently stayed in the Centre suite for part of our Vancouver Island vacation and really enjoyed our stay. The suite was spotless when we arrived and very well decorated. The view was amazing and the property and garden were super well maintained. I loved watching the hummingbirds pop in and out of the garden. The binoculars in the suite were a nice touch and I used them to watch a family of otters from the deck down by the water one morning. The owners have organized the use of the outdoor space to give each suite as much privacy as possible. They were responsive hosts and provided a lot of information about the surrounding area. We can't speak to how child-friendly the property is, but would otherwise recommend the retreat to anyone! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Finding words to describe our experience at the Cedar Coast Retreat is not an easy task. We were in need of a very last minute place to stay for a week and Rob and Lynn were welcoming from the moment we made the call. They have created a peaceful sanctuary just outside of Sooke where you can wake up and enjoy your coffee with the hummingbirds, spend the afternoon sitting by the nearby beaches (yes, plural), find a special treat at Shirley Delicious down the road, pick up Wood Fire pizza for dinner, and watch the sunset from the hottub while listening to the Ocean.

We stayed in the East Suite and it is truly a work of art. The unique, modern design with warm, cedar accents made it feel very cozy yet high-class. The shower with a warmly lit marble wall and multiple rain shower heads, the open kitchen - living space, the comfortable beds, the high-standard level of cleanliness - it really needs to be experienced to understand.

I recommend calling Rob directly to book to ensure you are matched with the right suite to suit your vacation needs.

From "hello and welcome" to "see you later", it was a phenomenal few days and I can't recommend Cedar Coast Retreat enough. Thank you for having us.

A lovely experience with a well-appointed and immaculately clean unit. It was peaceful and relaxing, with excellent directions and information for a care-free stay.|The host made sure I had everything I needed, and was only a quick text or call away.

The location of this vacation rental is just great, with a breathtaking view of the ocean and the Olympic National Park, which adds even more charm to the stay. The combination of sea and nature makes this place really special.

Plus points are the peace and good air that prevails in the area. It was a real relief to listen to the sound of the waves and relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

A small suggestion for improvement concerns the internet, which was a bit unstable during my stay.

I can recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing and idyllic stay in a picturesque setting.

Incredible views, beautiful room, great hosts, highly accessible to lots of beaches and trails. The stairs down to the water are so special, we loved taking a bottle of wine down to relax and look for whales - we were lucky enough to watch a group of river otters playing and fishing! There were also lots of birds on the property, so many hummingbirds! We didn’t want to ever leave. Highly recommend staying here - bring your binoculars!

Absolutely stunning! Incredible views, modern, clean accommodations and friendly hosts. Everything about Cedar Coast is amazing. There are three different size suites - a studio, one bedroom and two bedroom - each is unique and beautifully designed.
