My first solo travelling trip and I chose Ottawa, to include the Canadian tulip festival. I had the privilege of staying at the Charing House Gardens BNB. As a solo female traveller I appreciated the utmost privacy and security given. I felt safe to come and go as I wished throughout my stay.
The room was super clean and very spacious with enough room for work and meals.
To top the wonderful space and lush bed, I received a lovely breakfast every morning that I was able to enjoy at my own time and pace.
This is a top notch BNB with service so much better than any hotel can offer.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights to visit Ottawa and we really enjoyed the whole experience! The room and bathroom were fully equipped, clean and tidy. Tasty breakfast with fresh fruit that we could enjoy in the beautiful garden. We could also use the tandem bike to the city centre, a real adventure! Olivia and Ron were very hospitable and caring for us on our stay and we will keep a good memory in to this warm place! Perfect hosts 😊

This is a delightful, clean and comfortable B & B in a beautiful home on a quiet street. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights -- one in the spacious single room, and three in the suite (because the suite wasn't available on our first night). Each unit has a small fridge, microwave, and ample cutlery and dishes. Olly and Ron: you are the most gracious and accommodating hosts that anyone could ask for. Thanks for letting us use the bikes for an enjoyable ride along the trail behind the house. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay, and we definitely hope to stay with you again when we return to Ottawa. We recommend you to everyone we see!

We stayed at this lovely B&B for 6 nights while visiting family nearby. The suite had a very comfortable bed and gave us lots of space to relax. The morning breakfast basket was delightful and the hosts were very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Ottawa. A big thank you to Olivia and Ron for their hospitality.

This is a very clean, quiet, comfortable, relaxing B&B. The house is clean and spacious and the back deck and garden are wonderful. We ate our lunch on the deck when we arrived and looked out at the garden which borders on a green space with a walking trail. The breakfast basket is generous with lots of fruit, oatmeal, muffins cheese and snack items. Our hosts offered just the right combination of helpful and friendly conversation while leaving us to enjoy our visit in Ottawa. It is a great place to rest and get a good night's sleep. I would happily stay there on a return visit.

Stayed in the West Room, one of only two rooms in this B&B in a quiet neighborhood in west Ottawa (Nepean). The room was large and overlooked the back garden and adjoining greenway. Although the room does not have an ensuite, the private bathroom is literally five steps across the hall, and the other room's guests are nowhere near, so there is privacy (and the innkeeper provides a bathrobe in the West Room for added privacy).||The breakfast is not a hot breakfast, but the variety provided (large fresh fruit cup, yogurt, cheese, granola bars, etc, etc) are tasty and filling. Coffee and tea are available in the room any time they are desired.||The Innkeepers are gracious and the accommodations are excellent. We shall gladly return.

A beautiful and quiet B&B with a marvelous garden in back. The house was very clean and the hosts were great. A real "family feel" while staying there. The breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins or croissants, a variety of cheeses, juices, and coffee or tea and more. A healthy and filling way to start the day. We were there from New Hampshire to visit relatives and the B&B is also well located so as to take in the sites of Ottawa. We had a comfortable stay and would recommend them without hesitation. When we return, we will be staying there again.

This place is an absolute must stay in the Ottawa area! The friendly owner greets you at the door and takes you up a grand staircase to the clean welcoming rooms upstairs, comfortable beds and your own washroom. Candies and coffee of plenty! And the cutest breakfast ever await you in the morning in your mini fridge! (Just like mom use to make) loved every minute of our stay!
