We saw Fiddles and Feet. They were truly fantastic. They were funny and so talented. The playhouse is very deceiving from the outside as it looks like an old small building, but inside is beautifully renovated, very comfortable, and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Definitely, we'll be going there again.

A visit to Chester should include a show at this historic playhouse. This renovated playhouse in the village of Chester has charm and the friendliest staff. I go often. I take in Monday night movies which includes free popcorn, magic shows, comedians, and plays there. And there are a variety of music concerts as well. It has a state of the art sound system configured for best tone and clarity for those hearing aid wearers.

This place is a local treasure. It's a non-profit agency where they are still focused on delivering a great customer experience. There's a variety of programming which seems designed to reach a broad audience including the LGBTQ community. There's a summer camp for children. Personally, I've only attended there weekly movie series but I've noticed that there's a concerted effort to offer quality programming, at the second run level. Most importantly there's a focus on customer service, and making the place accessible to the disadvantaged and the elderly.

I’ve attended a few shows at the newly renovated theatre. The seats and sounds are really outstanding. Comfortable chairs and awesome acoustics paired with some great performances have made our visits really enjoyable.

What a night!! Our first time enjoying the Chester Playhouse and it won't be our last. So many events on the website to enjoy. Movies, plays, comedians and so much more. Seating is comfortable. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff want to ensure you enjoy your time here...and we did!!

I always wanted to see something at the playhouse and was able to take in a stand-up comedy show. The place was amazing. The staff was nice and helpful. The place was clean and modern. Parking was easy to find. The comedy show was funny. A great evening experience was had.

An amazing venue, well run, well staffed. A not so hidden gem on the South Shore. Well worth the drive from Halifax every time!
