The worst experience I’ve ever had with the city. The women at the front desk is awfully rude and did not listen to a word I said. She asked if she could help me with anything, then when I told her my concern she disregarded it and walked away. If you do not want to deal with the problems your job entails, find something more suited for you. Maybe the city should hire more people that can handle issues and not just a housewife.

Didn’t understand why did this city has such a low score on Google Review until I have to deal with them myself. I was trying to apply for rental license but found their application process is very unclear. One of the staff Barb is very unprofessional and all she did was just patronizing you. If you are looking to invest a property or business, stay away from this city. They won’t offer any help but just give you hard time and try to get money from you. Very unpleasant to deal with them.

yeah, solve the god damn parking problems there’s no enough parking space in the community and have to give parking over the apron then you guys gave a ticket. Moreover the price before 15 days would be $30 after that would be $60, you guys are good businessman don’t you? 50% percent of discount. Only work for the Canadian dollars but not tax payers !!

Such a terrible experience today.
First of, the lady in the reception was not very nice and her behavior was quite aggressive and rude. And she tried to get rid of me when I told her; “I called in earlier today and the person I was talking to on the phone asked me to just walk in to the city.” She answered me back by saying”no we do not except any walk in.”
Her tone was full of anger. And then, finally she got me some else to help my with my paperwork, and then they ask me to wait just two minutes. It’s been 30 minutes and no one is helping me until this moment.
This is how they serve public in the city of Thorold. What a shame.

Are you insecure? Do you use loud cars/motorcycles to get attention and overshadow your lack of personality? Look no further than beautifully loud Thorold Ontario. We have events every Friday all summer where you can spend 7 hours getting together with other insecure residents and pretend the world cares about the cars you own. Feeling lonely because no one will pay attention to you outside of these events? Have no fear, you can join the other fellas in slow-rolling Thorold's 'quiet' neighborhoods constantly revving your cars engine after 11pm on holidays. After all, our municipal government supports and values your need for attention at the expense of other's sanity.

This is the worst city hall ive ever had the displeasure of entering. Ive been yelled at by the workers behind the counter and all asked for is the building inspector, ignored by the office secretary, and belittled by the other workers. Not sure why? I've owned a house here for 6 years pay my taxes like everyone ealse and they are worse and worse everytime I walk in. Snarling looks, belittling comments, previous bylaw inspector waited out front of the neighboors house till I left then decided to enter my home while no one was there (I have security footage)(Jessie)... this is unexeptable. Ive tried to call the mayor and no one gets back to me. Theres seem to be a serious disregard for human rights. We will be selling shortly due to this uncontrolled office. I hope someone takes initiative and overlooks PR and professionalism of this office..

The small city never care about their residence. They won’t listen, they won’t change. Attitude was always very very bad. Very frustrated after each communication. The only reply is I could do nothing about it.
