We could not have asked for a better wedding venue than Code's Mill! From the start, Tracy, the wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing. She helped us navigate the planning process with such positivity and grace, especially during a tough year when we faced several hiccups and changes to our initial plans. Tracy went above and beyond to ensure our day was absolutely perfect, and her support made all the difference. On the day of the wedding, she was right by our side, keeping everything running smoothly and even fluffed my dress before I walked down the aisle. Kyle, the owner, was equally amazing, making sure we got everything we wanted and more. The serving staff and bartender were also incredibly sweet and attentive, adding to the wonderful atmosphere. The entire team at Code's Mill created an unforgettable experience for us. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional service, look no further than Code's Mill. We are beyond grateful for the incredible day they helped us create!

Though we live an hour away, we couldn’t have picked a better venue for our wedding in September. We first fell in love with the historic and elegant features of the building. The beautiful stone walls, the lovely exposed wood beams, and the spacious and smartly laid out space. Our choice was made even easier when we met the amazing events team!

Space
–Large room that easily fit our 150 guests with a mix of round and rectangular tables
–Dedicated space for dancing and riser/stage for DJ
–Beautiful multi-functional area by the bar that we converted into an additional seating/conversation area with couches and cruiser tables
–Option to host the wedding ceremony in a separate room (we decided to use this space for the rehearsal and storage)
–Elevator access for our guests which was very much appreciated (we needed a wheelchair accessible venue)
--Located just across the beautiful Stewart Park (great spot for photos), and with ample parking opportunities in the lot or street

Service
–everything was reasonably priced. We went with a package that also included: DJ, cocktail hour, flowers, dessert
–The food was great: well portioned, served in a timely manner, delicious!
–The staff was friendly and helpful
–Our event coordinator, Tracy, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was kind, patient, attentive, and was able to find ways to “make things happen” with some of our requests (i.e., having a mix of round and rectangular tables, using a C02 gun during the dancing portion of the evening, and requesting a special bottle of scotch to be served at the bar)

This was a spectacular venue and we were glad to also be able to support other local vendors through our contract with the venue. Perth is truly a charming town with so much to offer.

Lovely, old stone building with a handful of interesting shops/eateries. There is a cozy atrium with fountain, plants & spots to sit & have a snack.

We hosted our wedding here this summer, planning during a pandemic meant we chose the venue without seeing it in person- but we couldn't have been happier it was beautiful. Michelle and the staff were wonderful to work with, and did their best to navigate a new situation for all. They adapted well with the changing guidelines and were accommodating. The food was very good and there was lots of it!

Had a July 2019 reception here it was everything we could have wanted! Incredibly spacious for 150 people without having to put any tables in the dance floor. We loved all of the twinkly lights on the beams and the room cleaned up to be incredibly romantic when decorated and set up. Michelle was around throughout the planning and was very easy going, easy to communicate with and guided us through the process. The food on the day was great; I really enjoyed my beef Wellington and received lots of compliments from guests on the food. Definitely greater value than getting married in the city and with a lot more charm. All of our vendors had an easy time working with the venue and we didn’t have to worry about a thing during the wedding day or the night before. The staff works to be accommodating where they can and there were lots of opportunities for food and drink sampling throughout the planning process. Perfect reception place if you are getting married in the park or nearby, and the best western is right across the street! Thanks codes mill for a fantastic night!
