If you’re considering a fishing trip in Powell River, definitely book with Corey at Coho Point Fishing - you won’t regret it! This was our family’s second time out with him, and once again, it was a highlight of our trip. Corey is a seasoned pro who knows the waters inside and out, making the experience fun, relaxed, and successful. On our most recent outing, we brought home two massive lingcod and three salmon and released many more we couldn’t keep. If you’re after an unforgettable day on the water, Corey is your guy.

Wow. Our charter with Corey was amazing. It wasn't fishing it was catching. He had us on fish within minutes and it didn't stop for 4 hours. Barely had time to rest before another Chinook hit. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and his experience on the water was obvious. Seamlessly doing three things at once to make our day enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Corey is a seasoned, friendly guide who lives and breathes fishing. He has the sensitivity and ability to cater to a wide range of guests from kids, first timers, and experienced anglers.

With an extremely high degree of situational awareness and dexterity, Corey effectively managed the action to help us reel in the big ones (often two at a time). Bottom line: we were setup for success.

Coho Point is a productive region to fish and has the added benefit of whale and other marine life sightings.

Can’t say enough about how awesome our experience was with Captain Corey. “Fish on!” was the call of the day, as we hit limits on big juicy Chinook and Cod. Captain Corey is a dedicated, lifelong wilderness fishing guide and was masterful in handling the boat and the rods and everything else. He’s passionate about fishing and knows the absolute sweetest spots. Boat was the perfect size for our party of 2.
If you are ever in PR, or thinking of heading up the Sunshine Coast, there is no better choice for a great day of fishing! Can’t wait to come back!
