Stayed in suite 3 which was a basement with 2 bedroom. Was very happy staying here. Bed was super comfortable. Stayed here while working the past week and will be returning here when I travel back for work next week. I will be in a different suite so I will update my review and compare the 2 suites. My ONLY complaint is that the bathroom has no exhaust fan and the towels were not changed out during my 4 night stay and ran out of towels. But thats not a big deal what so ever. Im sure housekeeping would have made it in there if I stayed any longer.

This is a cheap efficiency suite. There are a number of buildings with apartments in them to rent. The place appears to be run by a very pleasant couple. The suite we stayed in was small, clean, sparse but not unpleasant. My only complaint was the intense smell of air freshener which was laid on so thick you could taste it. If you're sensitive to scents, do not stay here.

I am a quiet non-smoker, non-drinker. Comerford's is an Excellent self-catering accommodation.|Comerford's is available year round, Twenty minutes from the northern end of Conception Bay South (Angie's Diner!) and only forty minutes from St John's, via the intersection of TCH and Highway 2 in Mount Pearl. Strong access from Highways "2" and "Trans Canada"|Caution(grin!) The Wong's House restaurant is closed Mondays and (sadly) The Station Diner is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. That said the Convenience Store is clean, bright, spacious, and full of food!|Yes. I'll be back. Chris

Most units are rented month to month, but a few are then rented on a day to day basis. We were assigned to a basement unit for a two day stay. No views, the bathroom floor was raised to accommodate plumbing, which lowered the ceiling. The unit needs updating pretty badly, but was clean and well maintained. Bedroom is so small suitcases could not fit. The TV could not effectively access streaming services like Netflix or Prime Video.

I will say first of all that the suites themselves are ok and the owners are nice people ... the reason for only 3 stars from me is the bed - it was the most uncomfortable bed that my husband and I have ever encountered. Very hard like the mattress was made of solid board with no cushioning what so ever! We were aching so much that we barely slept and I had to get out part way through the night and sleep in the fold out kids cot because that at least had some cushioning. I'm not sure if every bed is like that, as this place seems to have overall positive reviews, but it's something you might want to ask about before booking.

The efficiency was really top notch. Staying in the suburbs of St John's provided easy access and a cheaper rate. The facility was absolutely wonderful. There was a full kitchen, bedroom, living room and bathroom. It was very clean and well kept. The owners, Agnes and Pat, couldn't have been more accommodating. Pat even allowed us to use his garden hose to wash our rental car. The housekeeper, Rita, was super nice. She even told us that if we needed anything, we should ask and she would be there without delay. It was really nice to sit on the porch in the quiet of the early morning or evening. We stayed way over the time we expected, only because ti was so convenient, clean and hospitable. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. A real gem!
