Seriously such a fantastic adventure! We love Pemberton and we got to experience it in a whole new way! My husband and I went out for the 2 hour tour with our 8 year old. We all wished we were still in the saddle on the drive home. We can't wait to be back for the 4 hour mountain trek! Our wrangler was so great! Gus, Thunder and Whiskey were such good boys! My husband and I hadn't ridden since before our daughter and she just started lessons this fall. Such a great experience for all levels! Book the trip!!

I have been meaning to ride at Copper Cayuse for years and today I finally did it. I feel like I hit the jackpot! What an amazing, beautiful fall day for the 4 hour ride.
Amelia, the guide, is wonderful - an expert and kind equestrian who truly cares for the horses and their well-being. She is also a lovely, knowledgeable and interesting person, so it was such a pleasure to spend time with her on the ride.
It is the end of what must have been a very busy and tiring season, but you wouldn't know it from the condition of the horses. They were fit, healthy, happy and willing. You could tell from their overall conditioning, hooves and the excellent state of all of the tack that Copper Cayuse puts horses first. Amelia shared a little bit of the horses' riding schedule to ensure that horses have appropriate work times, stimulation and adequate rest. I was impressed and would highly recommend Copper Cayuse to beginner or experienced riders.
I look forward to booking an overnight trip - hopefully next summer!

We had the pleasure of having Issy as our wrangler for a 3-day trip this past August, and she was absolutely fantastic. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about the horses, the terrain, and the overall experience, but she was also wonderfully engaging with everyone in our group. She took the time to understand what we wanted to explore and did a great job managing expectations based on our different riding capabilities.

When a few of the horses weren’t on their best behavior, Issy remained cool, calm, and collected. She handled every situation with complete professionalism, but still kept things lighthearted and fun. Her balance of competence and warmth really stood out.

We had an amazing trip, and so much of that was thanks to Issy. She truly elevated the whole experience, and we can’t recommend her enough!

Special thanks to Don and Johnny (our furry friend!) for taking such amazing care of us at base camp as well.

A truly memorable experience. My partner and I booked the full day ride and had the absolute best time. The horses took us through beautiful and stunning places and were so well trained, lovely and gentle. From a steep mountain climb, through an enchanted forest, to viewpoints and through rivers. Our guide Milly was fantastic. She shared so much about the horses and area and took good care of us and the horses. She also took amazing pictures of us.

I will definitely come back for another ride or camp experience in the future.

I did the 4 day/3night all over the mountain trip with Copper Cayuse in September 2025. It was nothing short of exceptional. The horses are so well behaved without it being nose-to-tail riding - you can get a good sense of their characters. Our wrangler Mattie was amazing - patient, friendly and very hardworking. Don made incredible meals for us each night. Accommodation is in spacious tents with lovely thick warm sleeping bags and pillows. The riding was really varied and there was always something to talk about around the campfire each night. An amazing adventure I won't forget!

Such a fun horseback riding experience!
The horses here are amazing — one hour was definitely not enough! My horse was a young and very food-loving one, always trying to stop for a snack along the way 🤣. It actually made the ride feel so interactive and gave me such a fun, memorable experience. I’d love to come back for a longer ride next time!

A truly wonderful experience! Great horses who take you through the spectacular and challenging terrain so well and safely, capable, friendly and caring guides, good food and comfy camp. Copper Cayuse delivers it all in the beautiful back country out of Pemberton BC. Thanks to Don, Lori and Kyla, my fantastic horse Pepper and the great group of riders on this trip. What an adventure!
