Très déçu de mon séjour dans cet hôtel.
Aucune réception : tout se fait par message et digicode sans personne pour vous aider sur place.
Chambre "vue montagne" sans vue, donnant directement sur le sauna de l'hôtel avec important vis à vis.
Climatisation mobile obligeant à laisser ouvert la fenêtre avec les insectes et les bruits du restaurant juste en dessous.
Petit déjeuner self service avec 2 tables de 4 pour toutes les chambres et couverts et assiettes en carton...
Aucun effort du service client : nous avons dû faire intervenir booking.
Vraiment une mauvaise expérience pour plus de 200 euros la nuit.

We had a wonderful time at Copper Horse Lodge. It was very easy to deal with management through texts, the room was beautiful, clean and had a great view. We enjoyed the breakfast bar in the morning after. Our only regret is not staying more than 1 night. Thank you for a very nice experience.

Although it’s not winter we stayed in this ski chalet/lodge at Golden BC.||When you get out of your car, all you can smell is the trees, both pine and spruce.||Room and bed were very very comfortable. Bathroom is large with a cool shower. Nespresso in the room.||Great atmosphere and we would come here again !!

We really enjoyed our week here. The room was nice and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the view from our window was beautiful. We enjoyed having a restaurant in the building and ate dinner there 3 times. 2 things could have made our stay better:
It was a very hot week, and there's no AC in the suites. We found 2 fans in the closet and made use of one a couple of times. On day 2, we noticed that other windows had a portable AC vents sticking out of their window. Not sure if they asked for them, or they were in the suites, ours didn't have one, and no one offered one. Which brings me to my other point:
Breakfast - there was a nice offering of options in the breakfast buffet, but no staff, so when essential things ran out, or the garbage overflowed, or the water dispenser failed, we were on our own.
I would recommend the resort ensure that there's more presence of staff in the building.

$434 for one night over the Labour Day long weekend.

Rooms were tidy and spacious, peacefully tucked away in the heart of Golden. Clear instructions were given for check in and check out.

The main downside were the bugs in the room; mainly mosquitoes and daddy long leg spiders.

Complementary breakfast wasn’t particularly special but the items were nourishing (frozen egg bites, coffee, juices, yogurt, breads, cereal, milk, etc.)

I was very disappointed with my room at the copper horse lodge. In fact, the "deluxe suite" was on the first floor, with a direct view of the sauna, and therefore in direct contact with the other hotel guests, forcing me to close the curtains to have a minimum of privacy. What's more, the air-conditioning was a noisy mobile unit that requires you to keep the window open, so you can hear everything from the restaurant below: plates clattering, guests chatting...||The reservation refers to a mountain view: there is none.||There's no on-site reception, so no help was available, and we couldn't change rooms.||Soundproofing leaves much to be desired: our room was right next to the entrance hall and we could hear everything.||The "breakfast included" is in fact a coffee machine, some yoghurts, bread and self-service muffins in the lobby with 2 small tables for all hotel guests to sit at (no real continental breakfast).

★☆☆☆☆ – Never Again

What a disappointment.

When we arrived, the restaurant was closed — and no one bothered to tell us in advance. We had to drive somewhere else, only to end up with terrible burgers and fries that were barely edible.

Our room was freezing cold, the bathroom was “okay” but the water wasn’t even warm. Breakfast? An absolute joke. I honestly feel sorry for anyone who books with breakfast included here.

Check-in was a mess. We filled out all the forms and… nothing. No one showed up, no instructions. I called the number on the door and got no answer. After trying to reach someone for 30 minutes, we finally got told our room number and the code.

For the price they charge, I will never, ever stay here again. I’d rather drive 1.5 hours to Revelstoke for far better service and hospitality.

Can't recommend this place, very disappointed for the steep price (over 320 CAD per night):
There is no reception; everything is done via message and digicode, and there is no one there to actually help you, made us wait 4 days for a real answer to our complaint from management.
Customer service made no effort to find a solution; we had to get Booking.com involved.
The ground level "mountain view" room had no view and opened directly onto the hotel's sauna - not great for privacy.
The mobile air conditioning means you had to leave the window open, allowing in insects and noise from the restaurant just below.
The self-service breakfast had only two tables and throwaway plates, cups and cutlery, felt very cheap.
