This was a last minute booking for the Historic Mail Flight and turned out to be the best experience on our trip. My Wife and I spent almost 3 hours delivering mail, dropping off a passenger and picking up other passengers. Our pilot was very professional. If you decide to sign up for this trip, keep in mind that you are along for the ride while this plane is in the process of delivering mail and cargo to remote islands as well as transporting people for one place to another. This is not a site seeing tour. It’s better! And when you calculate the cost compared to other site seeing tours, this experience is rather cheap. Enjoy!

Amazing historical mail flight experience
An unforgettable way to see the islands from above! The views were absolutely breathtaking. Flying low over the coastline and getting a completely different perspective on the landscape was amazing.

We took off and landed several times, just like the original mail routes, which made the experience even more unique and immersive. Along the way, we were given some short background information about the area and its history, which added a nice touch.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region. Certainly a one-of-a-kind experience!

Just do it.
Did the postsl route, oh my.
Was a perfect weather day, in the Beaver. Nice slow (100mph) and low (500-800 ft) flight over the islands. 3 hour, 5 stops. You can get off at every stop for 10-15 minutes to have a look see.
Washrooms are available at some stops.
Unfortunately no Whale sittings.
But the locals have tons of personality to converse.

Op zondag 21 juli met een post vlucht meegevlogen. Wat een fantastisch uitzicht heb je vanaf zo'n 400 meter hoogte. We hebben 3 stops gemaakt op bijna sprookjesachtige locaties. Piloot was heel aardig en vertelde veel over de omgeving en uiteraard over het vliegen. Ik heb genoten en wat mij betreft was deze vlucht elke dollar waard.

Thanks Luke and Naotao, what a beautiful ride it was through the top of cake frosting talking about Capybara and our life experiences in the plane. It’s a real treat when you meet two amazing humans who are able to share a slice of human dignity and leave you feeling like maybe we really are just brothers under the same sun. Much thanks and lot’s of love. Great pilots, super friendly, very clean plane, wings stayed on the whole trip, what more can you ask for?

Just wow. Thank you Mannie for this amazing experience. We’re fan of you and fan of the surroundings. Wow, again. The experience of flying with a beaver to all the different islands and bays is amazing. We had a sightseeing tour of around 2,5 hours, the so called mail flight. Me and my girlfriend and 2 other passengers. They were dropped off on the second stop, they had to go to work, to do logging… what a way of going to work! We went on and made 2 more stops. The view is just breathtaking, it is so beautiful and quiet. Would really recommend doing this flight as a lifetime experience!

Ask for pilot Marius - tour guide as much as pilot, will keep you informed and entertained for your whole commute over the beautiful west coast. He even endevoured to find calm routes for my air sickness. Love the view out the little ceassna, all windows that thing!
