This motel used to be beautiful. Needs money put back into it and a deep clean. Walls and doors, etc need to be thoroughly cleaned. The price was good, beds clean but rooms have a particular "funk" smell to them. Looks more like a work motel than a "country club". With a little bit of time, effort and money this motel could be great again but as it stands 3 star is being generous

The rooms were super dirty. The sheets smelled off and there was a significant amount of dust everywhere. It looked like they never cleaned the room except for the bare essentials.

It’s exactly what you would expect in a small town motel, and not in a bad way. The front desk staff were very kind. We didn’t have any of the deposit issues some other posters have mentioned. The rooms included all the basic amenities and were very clean. The only negatives were the very low water pressure in the shower and the LOUD air conditioner.

DJ'd a party til 1am. Called ahead in the day and asked if they had rooms, and they mentioned they dont normally do late night check ins, but the front counter girl called the owner and they said they would be available for that time to give us the keys. The room was clean, comfortable, and we slept great. Very friendly service upon checkout aswell. Thanks again! 🙂

Don’t book if you have a hint of plans changing. They don’t have a refund policy and charge you the full amount.
Will never book them again.

I have had a reservation here for the 29th of Saturday to the 1st of Monday of this month, July. Was called TODAY that my reservation is getting canceled because the people staying the room I booked decided that they wanted to stay for two more weeks. I told the front desk person on the phone that I already paid online and that the people staying in the room should have changed their dates since way before. This is very unfair and no way to run an inn. Horrible service, now I'll need to find a new place and it will probably be out of my current price range since it's such SHORT notice.

Room was dirty. Blood on the wall in main area when you walked in door. Bugs all over the room. Sheets and blankets were dirty, when we pulled back covers. White stains on one of the top bed covers.
Extra charges, on top of original fees were put onto my card a week later saying my dogs had left fur on the chair and under the bed(which was impossible, since it was a wooden base under bed). Said it took them 5 hours to clean/ vacuum the fur. Really disappointed and will never stay there again. Discourage anyone from staying.

I have been reading all the reviews, where everyone is giving the place a 1/5 . Not sure exactly how that could happen. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, place was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Also gave you a top notch continental breakfast in the morning. Definitely the best motel I have stayed at, in in this price range. And, I stay in a lot of hotels and motels, travelling across 3 provinces for my job. Would definitely recommend to anyone, and next time I’m in the area I’ll be staying there again.
