While in Duncan, BC I was able to go swimming at this big facility.
Great place for free swimming, l love the fact that there are several options to swim according to your ability, slow, medium, and fast lanes, plus a different pool area for water fitness and hot tub as well as a sauna.

I was pleasantly surprised since in my hometown in Ontario, our aquatic centres are not that big!

Schwimmbad mit 2 Rutschen, Whirlpool, Sauna und Dampfbad. Es gibt ein Schwimmerbecken und ein Famillienbecken mit Babybecken. Es gibt nur Gemeinschaftskabinen und Duschen mit Vorhängen. In zweiter Etage mit Blick ins Schwimmbad gibt es ein Gym, das alles hat was man braucht und dieses bietet auch Einzeltickets an.

Clean facilities, nice staff.

Pretty disappointed that "family rates" only apply if you choose to breed, but if you don't have a child then family rates don't apply. In the 21st century, it should be pretty common knowledge that families come in all shapes and sizes, and don't always include offspring.

My Fave Pool on Vancouver Island & I frequent from Victoria to Nanaimo. Recently the hours have changed and there has been wait times to get in. There is not a ton to do since covid on Vancouver Island for a family. Recreation Centers are originally meant for families. What the heck is going on when these places are closed early on weekends. In addition, every single time we go, the steam room, waves, etc are shut down. It has become a sad state of affair within this province. I am quite positive that the BC gov does NOT want us to flourish

Slides are barely open for the kids if you are wanting to take children there u have to go out of town because out of town slides are always open Cowichan aquatic need to UPDATE their sign by the slides if they are only open for an hour not even

There is a great gym upstairs, a sauna, stram room, and a hit tob with good water jets. That I mainly use. A pool for laps and one general use, a small kiddies pool, and a river either for kids play, or excersie.

Loved it. Great to hang out in a fun environment while getting some
Exercise with friends and or family! Hot tub 👍. Wave pool 👍👍 long deep pool for laps!! And the lazy river! All well layed out!
