We got stuck in Thunderbay with our van needing work done and the whole Cozy Cottages family was so helpful and accomodating with our 3 dogs. There's a lovely yard and fire pit, good setup inside the cottage with everything you'd need. A little home away from home. There's a general store across the street and a lot of beautiful trails and parks around to explore which they conveniently listed in their guest book. After a week we saw it all hahaa! Definitely consider supporting these lovely locals instead of the commercial chain hotels, you get a whole cottage instead of a room. Thank you again cozy cottages family, you made our bad situation a fun vacation.

We were on a road trip from Toronto to Calgary and needed an affordable place to stay, but everywhere was booked because of the long weekend. Irene, the owner, was incredibly kind and offered us her cottage rental at the same price as her motel. We fell in love with it the moment we walked in. The cottage is clean, cozy, and far better than any expensive hotel we’ve visited. It has everything we needed, including a small kitchen, a living room, even a water dispenser, and a lovely view of the backyard - perfect for dog owners. Parking right at the door was also super convenient. Irene was so welcoming and accommodating. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time visiting Thunder Bay and just hope we will still able to get book it then.

Our family had the pleasure of staying at incredible Cozy Cottages every year we visit families in Thunder Bay!

This place exceeded all our expectations. Irene , the hosts were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our family stay was comfortable and memorable. Her attention to detail, cleanliness and hospitality truly made us feel like it was home away from home.

The accommodation itself was amazing. Impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches, it was evident that the hosts had put a lot of care and effort into creating a comfortable and inviting space. From the cozy bedroom to the living area, every corner was prepared for comport. We can not wait to hear your incredible experience with COZY COTTAGES THUNDER BAY! We highly recommend.

Highly recommend. Driving from North Bay to Alberta and called for one of their rooms at their motel property but they were full for the night. Irene offered one of the cabins on this property and I was pleasantly surprised when I drove in and saw all the flowers and yard space. I’m in cabin #3 and it’s quite lovely. Super clean and welcoming. A comfortable couch in the living area with a wood stove, a nice dinette set, kitchen and separate bedroom.
The outside has a little deck with chairs, a fire pit and a nice size yard area.
If I’m through this way again I will definitely be staying here!
