I booked this thru AirBnB and the owner sent good communication with lock code, wifi, etc. The house was built in 1878 as an Anglican rectory and has quite a history. We booked room # 2 which has an ensuite bathroom with shower. I think we had access to kitchen but we wanted to try different restaurants in the area. Tim’s was a 5 minute walk for coffee and we enjoyed a walking tour of murals and historic homes. There was no TV in the room but one in bar area downstairs and there was off street parking. Would definitely book again !

Great all round! Large room, full kitchen access, nice outdoor space too. Host, wonderfully attentive. Love all the artwork.

Dirty and chaotic inside. Walking in the bathroom downstairs stinks, clumps of hair in the corners of the house, space does not look vacuumed or mopped well at all, really gross. Spiders hanging from ceiling and kitchen filled with flies. Beds are small and come with 2 pillows, no sleep if you have to share a bed. A/C unit in the room works but sounds like a tractor especially in room 1. There is no old house charm to enjoy in this historical building, because the walls are completely covered in strange posters and unsettling images. Owners need to review accommodation standards

We had a great stay at The Crossing Paths Guesthouse on a bike tour through Woodstock. Full equipped kitchen, great lounging space, big beautiful backyard to stash bikes and hang out (undercover if it's raining).

Shaun and Butch were both very friendly, responsive, and helpful. We ended up staying an extra day to get some more rest.

The old character home is quirky, the VHS room #4 is great for hanging out and very nostalgic, and you are walking distance to cafes and restaurants (I recommend the Thai Hut for a unique experience.)

Great bang for your buck!

We stayed here one night in May on our way to Newfoundland.
The Wi-Fi had no internet. They should not advertise as free Wi-Fi.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The feet section was higher than the head section. You sunked into the matrass, and you could barely move.
The decor of the room was fine. But you need a comfortable sleep. Which wasn't the case.
It's on a major road in the small town. Expect cars passing by at night at all hours.

Lovely old upscale home. Hardwood floors, handsome furnishings. Nice courtyard. Steps from everything downtown. Great host - can't do better anywhere nearby! Kitchen access available but several nice restos a short stroll nearby. Also, riverside trails, farmers market, library. Awful mass market "coffee" (you know) almost across the street. 😉

Crossing Paths hosted my band during our performance at Dooryard 2019 (local music festival) and if you’re into grassroots, meeting new people, unique local style, then this is THE PLACE. Great location in downtown Woodstock (easy to walk to places if you prefer) and Shaun is a thoughtful and considerate host. Nice outdoor patio, cool quiet rooms...I stayed in the jazz room. Need I say more? Totally worth it.
