Not an efficient organized company. Waited for a delivery, suppose to go to a residence. Tracking said it was delivered when infact it was not. Had to contact them, seems like they are closed over weekend. Dispatched called me on Monday after my inquiries said my item would be delivered next day. Got a second called shortly after that one and wanted to change the time and informed us it would cost more to have a truck with a lift gate. It is laughable, the residence doesnt have a loading dock, we did not arrange the transport of the item, it was included in the purchase, how would we know, lol lol.

I came to this facility for a delivery and noticed that the security guard was taking a picture of my driver’s license using his personal phone.

Is this a normal or approved policy at your site?

Is it acceptable for security to take and keep pictures of drivers’ licenses on their personal devices?

I was quite uncomfortable with this practice. Shouldn’t personal information be handled using official and secure systems only?

I had received a crate from China the item was destroyed and neither CSA Transport or Amalien Transport will take responsibility for my losses. I would never deal with these two companies again.

There are a lot of other logistics companies that you can approach. Leave these two off of your suppliers list.

These please are amazing people who work there they do have a lot of space for trailers, and they do have them own scal for free , and the driver cleaned bathrooms and in top of that they let you sleep in them yard , wow amazing respect to the driver, I love these places and I will come over and over

A nightmare. Misinformed, uneducated, and uncooperative.
The staff at the Toronto location is a complete clown show. Not one staff member is on the same page.
I have shipped with CSA for several years, and have noticed a strong decline in customer care and service. I have endless emails outlining constant incompetence collected over the last several years.

We ship often with CSA.
1. Strangely always overtime charges with Amazon appointments.

2. NOT GOOD for trade show delivery. Very negative experience at MTCC Toronto YOGA SHOW. Should be a no brainer delivery: Trucking into the exhibition hall as I discribed on the BOL with our trade show pallet and dropping it in the exhibition hall at our booth. Not with CSA, the driver wanted somebody to unload for him and sign. Are you kidding me. We did hundreds of trade show and this never happened before. You pay for tradeshow delivery and the driver goes in and drops pallet at booth. This specific CSA driver`s truck had tailgate but he preferred not to unload it himself and drive away again!!! Why.
Part 2: After 20 emails and 10 phone calls CSA `gracefully`` decided to deliver again so we could to our trade show.

Nightmare!

Financally very absurd: They charged $250 for the transport which is normal and an extra $150 for trade show delivery (which they did not facilitate the first time)! After the 20 emails and 10 phone calls they returned gracefully to the MTCC, drove into the hall and unloaded the pallet. But they charged us an extra $125 for the return and a tailgate delivery. Very negative experience.
I am still wondering why they charged us the first $150.

This company is absolutely horrible. Had 7 skids of Christmas sweaters coming from Texas. They were supposed to bring them on a Tuesday evening and didn't show up, no phone call, nothing. I called them the next morning, and they said they'd bring the truck that night by 5. They came at 4. Guy backed in the 40 ton truck, no problem - but he had no pallet truck to remove the pallets. I called the next day, to tell them to come back with the truck, and a pallet jack.... They told me that the driver said he can't back into the space, which is nonsense. He backed in on the first try. Then they said that the pallets can't be removed by a pallet jack. So, my boss and I had to rent a $250 truck, and drive down there. We moved the pallets onto the rented truck, using a pallet jack, with absolutely no problem.

Look, if you didn't want to bring them to us, you could have just said that instead of making excuses. We will not be using this company, ever again. We always have stuff moving to Vancouver, too, so it's quite the loss for you guys.

Don’t ever ship with them, zero communication from their side. Will pick your freight and randomly send emails about an increase in freight cost and you have no option but to pay otherwise your freight is help hostage.
