I need to be very honest here. For years I have supported CTV local as good source for news. Until the recent heckling of independent media. This is unprofessional and very frowned upon. You don't slander your competitors in any business it will only drive people from your platform. The largest church group in Waterloo region we all support independent media and this movement is only growing we are spirit lead and only follow what makes sense. When you take money from the government it makes you bias. You need to ask questions and hold government accountable to the citizens. When a member of independent media is not allowed in to an event you should all start raising the issue and stand up for your colleagues in all media. This is a democracy and not a dictatorship. Legacy media is just that in today's cyber age and should not be receiving my tax dollars. I like 28 million canadians do not care or watch legacy media.

I personally don't find CTV Kitchener to be a good news source anymore. They talk way too much about weather. Three minutes into the broadcast and it's already weather.
The news that they do have, is not all local. Most of it is from Toronto and the surrounding areas. Which doesn't matter to me, because I don't live there. I understand that not a lot of "news worthy" stories happen anymore, or something won't happen for a couple of days. But it's frustrating when I want to watch the local news, and there aren't any local stories.
Recently they also have been sharing a little bit of a story, but then say "Go to our website or scan the QR code to read the full story." The whole reason why I am watching the news in the first place is so I don't have to go on their website.

CTV NEWS loses $40 million per year. Their viewership has consistently gone down over the past number of years. Maybe because they get caught putting things on the air that never actually happened. Andrew Sheer interviewed VP R Gray in Parliam...

We loved seeing all the former personalities. I remember Elaine Cole and Reg Sellner. Who was the solemn young man who played the piano during their show? His name maybe Joe?
We hope Dave MacDonald is still driving his motorcycle. Well done CKCO

I love watching CTV News Kitchener. They sometimes report stories in the Town of St. Marys where I live which is really neat. The anchors are very talented. The weather guy Will Aiello is always very happy when doing the weather forecasts. I also like the they do the local morning news updates during the CTV Your Morning show. Thank you for bringing the news to us on TV every day and every night.

I don't care for the football would rather see local news .I have no use for the National News at 5:30 that news person should retire and maybe we would have extra funds for local News.

Great TV station for local news. They've had some beautiful reporters working there over the years. They come and go so fast. Alexandra Pinto is beautiful. Love watching here on the daily news.

Good mix of news and presented in a nice relaxed way. Too much time spent on weather, very repetitive and gets to be annoying (usually turn the sound off for the last two segments). How about using some of that time for a little sports coverage?
