My first time on a jet ski and it didn't disappoint. The jet skis were very quick, well maintained, and very safe. The GPS feature made us feel safe as we didn't need to worry about other crazy jet ski renters ramming into us.
The lake and area to drive the jet skis was huge! I'd definitely come back again.

1️⃣ Chaotic Internal Management
When we were being taken to the middle of the lake on a sled, the strong wind blew up snow that hit us directly, leaving the children shivering. Upon reaching our assigned cabin, we found that there were already people inside ice fishing. After a thorough investigation by the staff, it turned out that the owner had mistakenly assigned our cabin to another group of guests. By that time, both we and our children were freezing. We discussed with the previous group, asking if we could let the children take shelter inside first while they packed up their things and vacated the cabin for us. Fortunately, the previous guests were very understanding and allowed the children to go in first.

2️⃣ Complete Disregard for Customer Experience, Only Focused on Profit
After the blizzard, all surrounding ice fishing companies suspended their operations, but CW Company insisted on accommodating all guests, completely ignoring their experience. As a result, the ice fishing experience was terrible. We paid $620 for the trip and only caught two fish—probably the best result among all the guests. Some guests raised concerns with the owner, suggesting that the company should limit guest bookings after a snowstorm to ensure a better experience. However, the owner dismissed the concern and simply said, “If you can’t catch fish, that’s your own problem.”

3️⃣ Neglect for Customer Safety and Poor Emergency Measures, Putting Guests in Danger
In the afternoon, a blizzard hit the lake, creating an emergency situation. Many guests requested CW Company to take them back to shore, but the company said they could only provide transportation after the storm stopped. That’s when we realized that CW should have canceled ice fishing for the day, refunded deposits, or rescheduled bookings—just like many other companies did.

Later, CW informed us that the sled could not reach our cabin directly, and we were told to walk to a designated pickup location in 15 minutes. Struggling through the deep snow, we finally arrived, only to wait for a long time without seeing any sleds. Our children were freezing in the extreme cold, with temperatures around -20°C to -30°C. Desperate, we approached another nearby cabin and asked the guests to take in the children while the adults waited outside. We stood in the freezing cold for 40 minutes.

At that point, one of my friends saw a sled passing by. She sprinted across the snow to stop it. Since there were too many guests needing transportation, CW did not have enough sleds. In the end, a sled meant for four people had to squeeze in seven people plus a cooler in the cramped space. We were on the verge of tears but had no choice but to tell the children to stay strong. It was incredibly dangerous to cram that many people into such a small space.

My friend’s five-year-old daughter was too small to walk through the deep snow, so my friend carried her, struggling with each step. When she finally lifted her daughter onto the sled, she twisted her wrist. To make matters worse, less than a minute after we got on the sled, the snowmobile pulling it ran out of fuel, forcing us to wait yet again for the staff to bring more. In the end, we spent one hour stranded in a freezing blizzard at temperatures of -20°C to -30°C before CW finally got us back to shore. Some other guests later said they had to wait two hours for a sled that never arrived.

I strongly condemn CW Company for its reckless disregard for human lives and its chaotic mismanagement.

Overall the ice fishing wooden house is nice and clean. Service is good and is a pleasant experience. BUTTT they did not warn and remind us both in person or on their website/wavier about getting a fishing license. While we are fishing two police came in and ticket us a $200 fine… more expensive than the ice fishing booking….

Took my family for wake surfing today, and had such a great time with Dom and not sure what the drivers name is. Instructions were clear, friendly staff and great vibe. Dom even wake surfed with my two kids since they were too scared to go by themselves.

This place is a lot of fun! We rented a boat, had a barbecue on board, and even caught some fish. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend for a great day out!
