Pretty loud hotel. I could hear an alarm 2 doors away. My toilet also squeals loudly periodically as it fills I guess(?). There is one elevator, which is fine, but it gets slow as people use it on different floors.

The room was very nice overall. It felt pretty clean and the bed was very comfortable. The TV is a good size, but the quality of the picture is lacking.

The breakfast was decent. Classic hotel breakfast. The coffee was genuinely the worst coffee I've ever had.

The gym is awful. It felt thrown together and equipment wasn't working. It wasn't clean and it had nothing to clean the machines with. There is a rack with a pulley system which was the only good part.

Ultimately the hotel is worth staying at. I've stayed at much worse places.

Good staff, decent continental breakfast with hot bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and omelets, waffles and some fruit available. Cereal and oatmeal are also there, orange and apple juice. The kitchenette was awesome and a great bathroom and king bed. Clean.

I booked through Hotels.com. They don’t have an option to include notes in the booking so I called ahead to inform them I would be bringing my dog. I informed the person behind the counter at check in that I had a dog with me.||When I went to check out the next morning I was told I was going to be charged a $200 fee for sneaking my dog in my room. During my stay I took my dog through the lobby several times. I never tried to hide the fact I had a dog.||So because the person who checked me in didn’t do their job right I was accused of doing something untoward and was going to be charged $200 for it. Instead of just asking me about the dog, and thinking maybe there was some kind of mix up, I was immediately accused of being dishonest. Horrible customer service.||After talking to the person at check out I was only charged the pet fee, which I assumed I was paying anyway.||Overall the hotel is OK. If it wasn’t for the desk staff I would probably rate it 3/5. It’s a Days Inn. A cheap stopover to somewhere better. You get what you pay for.

Positive: Location is good near service station, corner store, Tim Hortons and Boston Pizza. Negative: Room makeups were lacking items that should be there like a simple box of Kleenex were missing however overall the cleaning was done well, room was in clean and tidy.

Overall good hotel. Rooms were clean but a few things were missed (not a big deal). They missed my room for room service however one day

Wifi is super fast symmetrical fiber (I saw someone else complaining but it’s not true, I’m attaching my speedtest result.}

Staff was kind and friendly. Breakfast was good but same everyday.

Rooms are unfortunately not well isolated for sounds - I could hear my neighbours TV and even just reasonable talking.

Overall, this hotel was “okay”, and I would recommend it

Standard hotel room with average cleanliness. It's nothing fancy, but it's not a dump either. It is middle of the road. They had a good amount of hot water, breakfast was decent. I have zero complaints. I would recommend it to others and I would stay here again.

HSEQHR Department

Rooms have an excellent layout. They aren’t in the best shape and they’re not the cleanest (there is serious visible hairy dust on almost everything) but they are really nice. Just don’t look up or too closely.
I think it’s difficult to get staff in the area and the people working here so their best (front line anyway). The breakfast is awesome. The kitchen and eating area are super clean (run by front line staff).

We have stayed there a few times for family functions and have always had a great experience! Rooms are clean, great service, and their breakfast has a great variety and always ready.
