I recommend Deep Roots to folks all the time. Their garlic and produce is amazing, the people are lovely, and they have the cutest little farmstore (plus the kiddos can see the farm animals very easily). Love it all.

A wonderful little farm outside of Joffre. The proprietors were gracious and excellent hosts! They gave us a tour of the farm. The garlic is wonderful, and they explained how to grow garlic in Alberta. There were many items to buy in their cute little gift shop. Jams, butters, spreads, potatoes, etc. Reasonably priced! Its a must visit farm! A great way to explore rural Alberta. Must Visit!

The loveliest farm store and owners. A great place to get your fresh, frozen and preserved farm to table foods, and in turn support your local growers! A beautiful, picturesque 10ish minute drive east of red deer on hwy 11. Our last visit we came home with delicious whole-wheat sourdough bread, local grown chicken & garlic, all amazing!

The little store is so quaint with some really cute decor items plus lots of delicious food. My toddlers love seeing the farm animals. The black garlic salt is phenomenal! Some cute photos ops during the holidays too with beautiful decorations. Definitely worth a visit.
