Calvin was amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time.

We not only caught salmon, but we even got lucky enough to see a whale and some sea lions.

I had out of country visitors visit last year and Calvin took us fishing, he advised where best fishing that day would be and he absolutely did know. We were on the fish and experienced non stop action for 45 minutes, we caught our limit in Springs. Our guest’s are still talking about it.
I got the fisherman fever this year so I called Calvin and we were 4 locals that fish often but not on Charters. Yesterday the water was like glass, it was sunny and no wind and we were off for some real excitement. Starting off with a doubleheader off big Springs we landed both, and it was on…..We all limited out on Springs and Coho with a bonus rock cod and ling cod. I would absolutely reccomend Denali Charters and Capt Calvin, best day of fishing ever and planning next years trip already.

We went out with a group of 5 with Calvin to go Salmon Fishing. Being from California and all of us being amateurs Calvin was a great guide for us, teaching us how to fish and being able to get our whole group great size salmon. The experience couldn’t have been better, we had a great time.

I had such a great time — it was an absolute blast. You can really tell how much experience you have and that you know exactly where to find the fish, which makes it all the more fun.

If you ever get the chance to fish with Calvin, do it. He doesn’t just sit around waiting for the fish to bite — he goes after the baitfish, and that’s where the salmon are. He knows the area inside out and exactly where to catch what.

We went out after a very successful morning and caught several Chinook (King) salmon and Coho (Silver) salmon, plus some lingcod. He knew exactly where they were, and sure enough, we landed several — including one that was over 80 cm (31 inches).

I can’t recommend it highly enough.

This was my first time up in Campbell River and my first time out on the ocean fishing. We booked Calvin Parker (funny enough we are not related). With it being my first time fishing Calvin taught me a lot and made it an experience I would never forget. You can tell he truly loves what he does and he knows a lot about fishing and about the area. We had such a successful fishing trip with creating great memories out on the ocean as well as catching lots of fish over the past two days. There is no one I would recommend more than Calvin for your first time fishing or just for your next fishing trip! Can not wait to go back again!

This was our first trip and won’t be our last! Calvin is a very knowledgeable and experienced guide. We had a blast catching our limit, he took us to see the seals and even made an attempt to see some whales. We didn’t see any whales but he went above and beyond and I can’t recommend him enough!

I have had the pleasure and privilege of fishing with Calvin on three or four occasions over 5 years. Calvin is very experienced and hard working on the boat, if something is not working he will adapt and overcome. We went into a knew area and Calvin took his time tracking down the bait fish before setting lines and we were on them immediately. Thank you Calvin.
