For those who loves skating and enjoys nature this place is a perfect blend! We visited it on the Christmas day and we loved it! There's enough trails and space for both speed skating and family experience, though the trails that were on the outskirts of the forest were not in a good condition for skating. It was quite challenging to skate on the bumpy mixture of snow and ice.
However, taking into account the holiday season, it would be great to feel its spirit in this kind of place, too. There was not a single decoration or Christmas lights to be seen anywhere. Also, having visited similar spots, it might be a good idea to put some speakers on the trees and play some quiet music. Especially for the night skating. We felt it was missing.
We would also suggest to bring your own snacks/food to eat and your preferred coffee/ tea to drink. There's a place where you can sit indoors and take a break.
The rent of skates and supports for skating is available at 10$ per item.
Overall, I would recommend this experience. We wish there was this kind of place a bit closer to Montreal.

It was our first time skating, so we rented the sled/sleigh. The price is fair. The place is so big that we were never in a crowded situation. We always had enough space to practice. There view was nice too.

Beautiful place to enjoy skating outdoors❄️⛸️ Staff is very friendly and their honey is amazing!

-We went during the week and it was nice as there weren't many people which allowed us to really enjoy the experience. We got to see the sunset while on the ice as well.

-Very reasonable prices on site for food and their honey.

-They have a skate sharpening service on site for only 7$ which made it easier for us as we brought our own skates instead of renting.

-Lots of places on the path to stop and warm up if needed and some bathrooms as well. There are also areas with some animals.

One of the best place to stop if you live or pass by Québec. Not so far from the highway it's worth it ! I came from there and ita even better than my memory . I bring my daugther's there and she like it even if she dont like to try stuff she is not used to . It was her second time skating and with their sleigh and their guide she has a marvellous time. Arrive early if you want some ,the sleigh are 10$ each . Bring some cash if you want to feed the animale there 0,25$

Really fun place! Miles of groomed skating trails with animals along the way! Went in the morning then again at night to see the lights... great place for children and families

Had trouble finding lots of information on this place (at least in English), so here's some helpful info. for those travellers in the same position. Tickets to skate are roughly $15 USD per person. They stamp your hand so you can go in and out as you please, or head back at night to skate the trails light up. Skate rentals are available for $5ish. Wear your shoes in and there is a room with benches to change into your skates. Then you leave your shoes there (unattended but feels safe there). You can take push carts with seats free of charge to help with balance. Near the main building there is a snack shack and a maple sugar stand. From here you are free to skate the trails! Trails are not really marked but you can just loop as you please and keep a general sense of direction as to where your homebase is. There are areas along the way to see animals like goats and deer. Trails are well maintained and it's so much fun. When you return you can turn your ticket in on the way out in exchange for small bottles of locally made maple syrup, honey, etc. Overall, it was a fun experience that just felt a little tough to get through the opening process (as someone who can't speak or read french), but that is on me and not them. Great fun!

This was my second visit here and it was just as enjoyable as I remember from years ago.

We're Americans. Not everyone on the staff knew English or could speak it very well, but they really worked hard to accommodate us and give us a good experience.

Skate rentals were easy. When you put your skates on, you can leave your belongings under a bench and nobody messes with them.

The trails are long and varied. You won't get bored and will likely lose track of time. You can easily spend hours going around. It's good, fun exercise.

There's barnyard animals to see all along the paths. You can purchase food for and feed them.

There's a cafe that offers classic vendor fare, including poutine. There's also a concession just before you get on the ice that offers an assortment of hot drinks.

This is such a unique activity and place and it's worth driving several hours just to do it.

Your place is truly incredible! The trails are impeccably maintained, and your staff is exceptionally friendly. My son, who is learning to ice skate, felt super confident. Despite having support available, he was comfortable going on the ice solo. The ice quality is excellent for beginners.
We're planning to return many times, and he's eagerly looking forward to experiencing the summer activities.
