Nestled by the lakefront, the views are nothing short of magical,especially with the fresh snowfall turning the surroundings into a winter wonderland. One of the highlights is the amazing tobogganing experience, where you can slide straight onto the frozen Echo Lake,a true thrill for adventure lovers!

After a day of outdoor fun, the firewood fireplace is the perfect spot to roast marshmallows and enjoy a warm, relaxing evening. What a beautiful way to spend a warm, mid September weekend. I love our Laurentians and Eastern Townships in Quebec but Muskoka is right up there in terms of beauty and charm. So pretty! First time there and we loved it. Michelle is an Airbnb guest host favourite, which is one of the reasons we chose to stay there. And she truly was wonderful, from answering our questions in a timely manner and making the booking and check in process a breeze to complete. She communicated with us throughout the weekend to make sure that all was okay and that we were enjoying. Then there is the property which is an amazing place to spend some time. Clean and spotless, full of all kinds of amenities, inside and out, to keep you busy or just to relax. You can see the heart and soul she has put into it, all over the place. If you are looking for a great time away, with three bedrooms that all have air conditioning and heating, really comfortable mattresses, a great kitchen, a cozy deck with a gorgeous view and a bbq, an outdoor sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, fire pit, private beachfront, water toys and so much more, Echo Hideaway is a great place to visit. We will be back! Highly recommend. Five stars!! 🙂☀️🙂

We had an incredible time at this beautiful cottage! Our stay at this exquisite cottage was truly unforgettable! It had everything we could have wished for. From the tranquil lake views and the relaxing hot tub to the fantastic fishing, kayaking, and canoeing experiences, it was the ideal family retreat. The kids were thrilled with the provided toys, and the BBQ was a big hit for our family cookouts. The comfy patio seating was the cherry on top for unwinding by the lake. Michelle, our host, exceeded all expectations with her meticulous attention to detail. We're already eagerly planning our next visit!

I just spent a week at Echo Hideaway and loved it! From the very beginning my host Michelle was extremely helpful, responsive and easy to reach leading up to my stay with the many questions I had. Arriving there, it was exactly the piece of heaven in the pictures. The cottage is very well stocked with all kitchen supplies you would want, multiple cooking utensils, even a blender!

The beds were super comfortable and everything was very clean and cozy in decor. The couches and chairs in the living area also very comfortable, and extra seating. Something I have always found lacking in rentals, not enough couch space and usually quite uncomfortable.

The deck and outdoor space is just outstanding. As long as the weather agrees, you will never need to go inside with a fully covered sectional on the deck (great for napping!), great lounge chairs by the water, and Muskoka chairs around the fire. Add in all of the amazing water toys plus a hot tub and your stay is complete. Amazing lake to canoe/kayak, and super quiet.

I had a great experience from beginning to end and will definitely go back!

The perfect spot to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday with her best friend and her mother!!! A perfect November day/night beautiful calm lake to enjoy sunset and sun rise around a crackling fire. Comfortable and cozy inside… everyone commented on the comfortable beds!! Topped off our evening with time in the hot tub and board games at the table!!! I highly recommend Echo Hideaway cottage anytime of year!
