Motel d'étape tout à fait classique, nous sommes restés une nuit à l'Empire motel.||L'accueil est correct et le parking inclus. L'hôtel dispose par ailleurs d'une petite piscine extérieure.||Mais en ce début de juillet caniculaire (39 degrés l'après midi), c'est sur la clim que nous comptons. Le problème est que nous en ferons un usage volontairement limité tant le bruit était assourdissant : la palme des décibels de toutes les clim de notre séjour.||Pour le reste, la chambre de taille modeste est vieillotte mais propre. Il y a un frigo, une tv et un petit coin repas (voir photos).||Rien de spécial en somme pour cet hébergement situé dans une région réputée chaude et dont le principal défaut reste une clim trop bruyante.

This is truly the best place to stay in. Everything in this motel is well thought. To begin with its rooms are crystal clean. In the bathroom there’s a shower head with hose which I really value as it gives me a chance to give a better shower to my little one. The next important thing is even though it’s a motel, you don’t hear your neighbors, so we could sleep peacefully. This place has an amazing and clean pool, and it’s cleaned every day. There’s also a BBQ area with clean utensils. The owners are very sweet people that care about their customers. We are definitely coming back again. I recommend it 100%! You’ll never regret staying there!

This was our second time staying at the Empire Motel – we loved it so much last year during our 3-day visit that we came back for a full 7 days! The rooms are spotless and well maintained, with daily cleaning and fresh towels. Estelle, the lovely owner, remembered us and made us feel so welcomed. The pool is crystal clear with fun toys for the kids, and the outdoor sitting area was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Comfortable beds, great showers, Air Conditioning and just a short walk to Skaha Lake. Can’t wait to come back again!

We stayed for one week at the Empire Motel, and it was great! The room was spotlessly clean. The pool and shared grassy barbecue area was well kept and easily accessible. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Even though the motel appeared to be quite full during the weekends, it was still very peaceful and quiet the entire time we were there. The location can’t be beat, just a block and a half from Skaha Beach. There are not many of these wonderful, retro, small family-run motels left, this one is a well kept gem.

Great Stay at Empire Motel!

We had a wonderful stay at the Empire Motel! The room was spotless, the shower had great pressure, and the air conditioning kept things nice and cool. The pool was crystal clean and even had float toys, which was a fun touch.

Estelle was incredibly kind and personable—she truly made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The motel is in a great location too—just a 15-minute walk to beautiful Skaha Lake.

Was a cute older motel! It was extremely clean inside and out; not even one leaf or debris around the pool. The pool was nice and not super busy when we were there and had fun toys to play with. The rooms were what we needed and ncie it gad a fridge with a freezer. Walking distance to the beach. Will definitely stay again!

I had such a wonderful stay at this charming little motel! The property is spotless, well cared for, and has such a warm and inviting feel. The courtyard and pool area are absolutely delightful - a perfect spot to relax . Estelle, goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is in order and that guests feel welcome and comfortable. What a Fabulous Motel!! So glad we found this place & booked our stay there! The owner was so kind and accommodating!! She really went out of her way to make sure everything was nice & that we didn't want for anything...! So personable, like we were quests in her home. Loved that! Room was so clean and new, very lovely. I also liked it had a bigger than a beer fridge sized fridge so lots of room! And microwave. Such an ideal location for everything!! The pool was a nice size with lots of comfy lounge chairs. A nice grassed area with 4 or 5 barbecues if wanted & 3 Gazebos for sitting/eating as had table/chairs. Motel was very close to the beach too. I have no complaints whatsoever. Most Definitely stay there again. Absolutely LOVE Penticton!! Highly Recommended 😊
