It was absolutely amazing! Enid & Herman were so nice! She gave us a tour first thing showing us our room, where breakfast was going to be and everything else. We had tickets to the hurricanes game and it was in walking distance!! Enid made us breakfast and they both sat down with us and we talked for a few hours. It was an awesome experience with my first time in Canada! They definitely will be the place I go when I come out again! The rooms were nice and bathroom was clean, the tub is amazing. I even scored a book to read on my drive to Calgary! I was so impressed with them. They made us feel like family and at home. If you love spending time with your grandparents and family, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!|||I will definitely be back! 🙂

We stayed this last Spring break as we made our way up to Calgary. Enid and her husband were very welcoming, but also were kind enough to let me and my girlfriend have plenty of privacy. They have a gorgeous home with an entertainment room downstairs, and we were close to several good restaurants. Overall a simple, comfortable experience that I would enjoy again.

Enid & Herman were wonderful hosts. We were very impressed with their hospitality, we had a lovely conversation about their travels over breakfast... and the breakfast was fantastic!!
They accommodated for our little 1 year old, and made a huge effort to give us a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I had planned a trip to Canada on a bit of whim (we couldn't resist the calling of Ikea Calgary any longer) and Lethbridge was a good inbetween our home and Calgary. Enid's B&B was a cute, homestay style B&B in a residential district in Lethbridge. It's not too far off the main drag but far enough away to ensure quiet sleep. ||||The house itself was very clean and well-kept. We were the only guests so the shared bathroom was not an issue for us. Enid cooked simple and delicious breakfasts. Our room was nicely decorated with a firm king-sized bed. There was a TV and DVD player in the room along with lots of books and brochures on area attractions. The price was very reasonable for a B&B.||||Overall, it was a good homestay-style B&B and I would consider staying here again.

Great Place to stay over! Nice change from the busy, noisy hotel/motel scene! Would absolutely recommend as well as stay again! The hosts are very friendly and easy to talk with. Thank you for the enjoyable experience.

There are 2 kinds of B&Bs: those where the building is in some manner a true 'inn' and those where you are clearly staying in the host's home. Each has its own benefits, and my purpose here is not to judge between the two. However, I generally prefer to know as much as possible before staying somewhere, so.... Enid's B&B is definitely the 'home-style' type, and it really is a lovely house. the three guest rooms are well segregated from the rest of the house, and although I don't believe anyone stayed there the nights my wife & I were there, I can imagine it would be plenty comfortable to share the space. Our room, which was not the premier room, I don't think, was well-appointed with TV, cable, DVD player & and in-room sink. It was also very lovely. The bed was quite firm, which was great for us, but which is worth noting for those who like a bit more cushion. Breakfast was tasty and ample, and Enid was a gracious if unobtrusive hostess. ||||In general, the place is well-sited, although as it is a home, it is in a neighborhood and as such is not terribly easy to located. Still, Enid answered our call, late as it was, and gave us directions which got us there. (Hint: Have the passenger look for addresses on homes as & after you pass them rather than looking ahead; the house number is clearly posted & lit, but it's not visible from down the street.)||||I struggled about whether to give a 4- or 5-star rating. Generally, I think the 'product' is very, very good, but - for me, at least - there weren't any of the extras which make that last star a shoo-in. Overall, I'd say that if you're going to be in Lethbridge or even just passing through I'd recommend staying with Enid before I'd pitch anywhere else in town. I ALWAYS refer B&Bs, and Enid's is not only very nice, but also rather inexpensive (about the same as a generic 2 1/2 star with MUCH better accommodations & service). I can't compare with other local B&Bs, but I really doubt there are any commercial accommodations which could compare to Enid's.

Staying here is like more like visiting friends than staying at a B&B Inn. We stayed four comfortable nights, which allowed us to get pretty well acquainted with Enid and Herman. They are both good conversationalists and are very interesting, sharing experiences but not foisting their opinions on their guests. Enid is a retired occupational therapist, and Herman a retired high school principal and science teacher. And they travel a lot. When they discovered that we built our trip around historical sites, especially the 1870s fur trade forts and Blackfeet sites, they "went the extra mile" and drove us to a private area overlook from which we could see the original site of Fort Whoop-Up. They also took us to an interpretive site about coal mining in Lethbridge which we didn't even know about. They were both very kind and generous. And Enid does truly make whatever you want for breakfast. We finally had to ask for "chef's surprise," and so one day she made a lovely croissant egg sandwich and another homemade waffles served with bacon. Everything comes with fresh fruit, juice, coffee and tea. ||||We had the king room, which is spacious. The other available room is quite small, but it was not occupied, so we had the shared bathroom to ourselves. Both guestrooms are upstairs. The house is large and well kept, and the yard and garden are lovely. The house has central air conditioning, which was nice when the weather turned quite hot. ||||We enjoyed Enid and Herman very much, and thank them for the kindness. We almost splurged and stayed in a very fancy, expensive new B&B out of town, but when we found out it didn't include a full hot breakfast in its huge rate, we looked elsewhere. I'm glad we found Enid's B&B. It was half the price and double the pleasure to be with people who were really interested in their guests. ||||Sally-Jo Bowman ||Springfield, Oregon
