This is such an incredibly beautiful Hotel. The outdoor pools are so beautifully heated as along with a spa. It’s just a delight to sit out there and stare at the lake in the Green and the Trees. The Restaurants are brilliant. No shortage of options, both in terms of the venues inside the hotel as well as what’s on the menu. The rooms are really comfortable too. There’s a lot to do around town along with the waterfalls and walks and someone. Go and then when you’re ready, go back again. A really nice break.

This is our second time at the resort and our first time in the summer. This stay was just as good as our first. We once again booked a Classic Suite with a lake view. For two people, this room is more than enough! Seriously… the rooms are pretty large and there is a lot of storage space!||We didn’t eat at the restaurants as we didn’t see anything we liked, the prices are a bit much and we weren’t fans of the breakfast menu the first time we visited this restaurant. That said, if you do plan to eat here… book in advance!! There are some restaurants near by like Archibald, Chez Boub and a little further away you have a couple of fast food options and a IGA grocery store. ||Was there anything we didn’t like? Hm maybe more nitpicky but nothing that really affected our stay. We found the shower floor was pretty slippery, thankfully no one was hurt. Parts of the room did show some wear and tear like a ripped screen and some pretty big dings on the wall but again nothing that bothered us. We were a week or two before school started, so there was a lot of kids… which is absolutely fine and none of it bothered us. Just be aware if you’re there for a romantic trip. The bed and pillows aren’t great but we did get some sleep!||As for the TV? Yeah it’s an old HDTV with no smart features. You can bring a streaming device as the inputs are on the side and outlet is under the TV shelf. You could also bring an HDMI cable that can plug into your phone/or tablet. We used an HDMI to USB C cable to our iPad but never ended up using it because we were didn’t use the TV that often and when we did there was tons of channels to choose from in English or French. ||All in all definitely recommend and we will stay here again.

Loved our stay! The room was new and clean with a beautiful lake view. Lots of fun activities for kids and families, and the service was excellent. I just wish there were more food options at the buffet breakfast, and the spa stayed cleaner—it got dirty quickly from sand people brought in from the lake. My daughter is already asking to go back soon!

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL! If you are looking for the pace and quiet of a secluded fancy hotel by the lake, THIS IS NOT IT! Such a shame because the hotel is beautiful and the view stunning. However is full of families with kids which completely ruins the experience. The hotel management doesn’t do anything to enforce the basics to keep order (for instance, ensuring that there are only adults in the jacuzzi as it’s marked in the entrance). There is running and screaming in the corridors at 7 am and as there is so little stuff, nobody seems to care or do anything about it. You pay the premium price of a 4 stars hotel but the experience is worse than a motel (they don’t even clean the room daily). It should clearly advertise that this is a family hotel where you won’t be able to use any of the shared amenities as they are always full with screaming children instead of “warm rooms and suite in an upscale lakefront resort with a hip restaurant, an outdoor pool and a beach”

The place is modern and warm, beautiful and clean. However, there are several things that might make you reconsider staying here - or at least adjust your expectations.

Room
The room is lovely and spotless. However, it’s equipped with an old-style TV (not a smart TV), so if you want to watch Netflix or anything beyond basic satellite channels, you’ll have to use your laptop. You also won’t be able to stream to the TV unless you’ve brought an HDMI cable with you.

Another downside is that they don’t provide any moisturizer or lotion, unlike most hotels. So if you forgot yours at home or assumed the hotel would have some (as many do), you’ll need to travel 2.5 km to the nearest pharmacy - either on foot or by a 40-minute bus ride that takes a long detour. Not ideal if you don’t have a car and become a big problem if you got a sun burn.

We also received a towel with huge holes in it. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to take a photo to share here.

Common Areas
Again, everything looks well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. But the pool is far too small for the number of guests, and it’s usually full of children during the day. If you’re a couple looking to relax without getting splashed, the pool quickly stops being a viable option.

A possible solution could be to install lights and make the pool area adults-only after dark. Right now, the area becomes very dark once the sun sets, making it uninviting to spend time there.

Food
There’s only one restaurant on-site, so if you’re not a fan of the menu - tough luck. The service is extremely slow; we waited over an hour for our meal after placing the order. I noticed pizzas are coming fast though.

Dinner was decent, though overpriced for the quality (looks good but tastes really not so good). The desserts were a highlight. But lunch? Avoid it unless you’re okay with a $9 hot dog.

I ordered a shrimp sandwich for $19, and it was honestly disappointing - very tiny and lacking in flavor. My husband’s $18 burger was dry and tasteless. The next day, we went to a nearby popular restaurant and had an incredible lobster lunch for two for just $58! One part of the meal included a lobster sandwich that looked similar to my shrimp sandwich - but it was generously filled and only a part of a much larger, delicious meal.

Final Thoughts
All of these issues are small and fixable. This is a great place to come with kids, and the views are absolutely stunning. I truly hope they make a few improvements, because with some adjustments, this could be a truly exceptional place to stay.

We came here for our summer holiday. We arrived very late, around 2.30 am. There were no reception staff at time. However, the security person who was incharge at that time help us to get the room. Rooms are large enough. With a beautiful lake view. The hotel has many activities, which is suitable for kids, young people. And many many many activities. Enough parking lot. There is only one restaurant,

I had a business activity that required my presence here June 13-14 and I do not think I will come back! It was my first time visiting! Now do not get me wrong! the location is stellar as in “perfectly safe and well maintained”. They have spa, swimming pools and a decent gym. However the room is not very well maintained. I had a non functional coffee machine and called to get a replacement but never received one! I also had a bathroom with no running water! I called and was told to use the second one… No repairs done!
They also do not accommodate my allergy! the breakfast menu barely had anything for celiac and they charge full price (3 eggs and a tiny toast was 30$)! same price was for bacon, eggs, fruits, toast and beans …
I am disappointed in the service as well!

Was recently there for a business conference May 12-14 and will never return back. The location is very beautiful so are many other places however for the price the service is lacking tremendously. First of all, my room was facing the front parking lot where I would be awaken by delivery trucks in the morning, no coffee if you wake up early besides 2 capsules left in my room for 3 days! Tried to get coffee at the only restaurant downstairs at 7am only to be told I ‘d have to come later…coffee wasn’t ready. Came down to breakfast, took 20 minutes to finally be served with coffee, found a pebble in the scrambled eggs, almost broke a tooth, pancakes were hard, looked like there were fine hours ago, no syrup nor fruit when I went up as the staff would take forever to replenish the buffet. But worse of all, we always had a mountain of dishes in the center of our table as staff wouldn’t pick up the dishes. And this happened during breakfast and lunch. Supper service was much better but the quality of food wasn’t the best…pork loin tough and didn’t smell right. And last but not least, my bed was never made during my stay, had a blood stain on the blanket at the foot of the bed and towels weren’t replenished unless you called. Worse stay ever!
