A great way to spend time with Grand children. We chose the Wonderland room.
It was very well thought out. It definitely challenged us to work as a group. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely return as this is now our second time visiting.

Best escape room in Guelph!! The team was responsive and so helpful when we needed hints. The Crashed on Pandora room was clever and exciting. Definitely check this out!

Had never done an escape room before. Took our daughter and 3 other 10 year olds for a birthday celebration today. We had a great time and I would go back. We did not solve our room in time and we even asked for hints several times LOL they must not have had anyone booked after us because we were allowed to finish (probably went over by 5-10mins). I will definitely go back. Staff were friendly, the place was clean and the puzzles and riddles were great!

Fantastic experience

Went with my family (including a 9 & 11 year old)and had a blast. Explained really well by the staff. Can’t wait to do it again. The wizard room was really fun and engaging for my kids.

They were very accommodating when bringing a big group. We did 3 rooms and all enjoyed them (Pandora, Wizards, and Coma). I was in Pandora and liked the ambiance and creativity of the puzzles.

First time visiting Exitus and we weren’t disappointed. Solid escape room experience, the room was great. We tried Coma room on intermediate and it was perfect difficulty for our mixed group. The puzzles were just right, challenging yet fun. We tried our best to avoid hints but ended up needing a couple. Quality of the room was on point, decent props and a good assortment of puzzles. We agreed we would defiantly return to try the other rooms. Being able to choose your difficulty in any room is definately unique bonus and a first for us coming from other escape rooms.

Absolutely loved this place! The place is clean and the puzzles were quite challenging -- even at the youth level! The staff are very cheery. They have an introductory video for you to watch before you enter each room that explains the rules of each room. This place allows you to ask for as many hints as you want. Also, you can pause the timer in the room if your child needs to leave to use the restroom; there is a pause button on top. They post on the wall all the team names and whether they broke out, how fast, and how many hints they received. Each room has a different themed picture along the wall that you can stand in front of to take a picture of yourselves after you have finished the room. See my pics for the themed walls. They also have large fun cards that you can hold.

Levels of room difficulty from easiest to hardest: Lucy's Room, Wizard's Initiation, Pandora, Coma, and Saw

Favourite room of the 4 tried: Wizard's room --for sure!!

Lucy's Room: I brought my tween with no experience to escape rooms. I thought it would be super simple partly because I picked the youth level, and I had done 3 escape rooms before. I assumed the room would be incredibly simple, so I didn't try my hardest at the beginning. We didn't finish in time. There are quite a number of locks and puzzles that you need to complete to finish this room. They made the room fun for kids and age appropriate. This is their easiest escape room according to the owners. Having an escape room birthday party here would be so fun for kids! It would be great to have more people to work on the puzzles as well. My tween was really into it and wanted to do another room right after. It is great for competitive kids especially! They really make the puzzles engaging for kids. I would highly recommend this room for them!

Wizard's Initiation: Wow! Wow! Come to this room!! My child (tween) and I had SO much fun here! We were delighted by the design of this place! They make it Harry Potter themed, not just wizard. At the end, you can dress up as the characters (capes, tie, and scarf) of Harry Potter and stand in front of their themed wall. The owners went down to Universal Studios to get the authentic scarf and tie! It would be helpful if you brought 3 people to this room. We almost got out in time; the owner's son kindly gave us 5-10 more minutes so that we could complete all of the puzzles. We were moving fairly quickly through most of it. We had trouble with one of the parts. (You will know what I mean when you are there). I picked the beginner level. I had done 5 escape rooms before this 1, and my child had done 1.

Pandora: The owners put a lot of effort into the design of this room. It is a whole world that you enter into! It was definitely harder than Lucy's and the Wizard's rooms. Even with 5 of us (3 teens, tween, and myself), it took the whole hour to break out. We broke up into pairs regularly to solve different puzzles, so that we could get done in time.

Coma Room: I took my three teens to this room. My oldest had already done an escape room or two. The others had no experience. By this point, I had done 4 escape rooms before this one. I chose the youth level again. The staff explained how certain types of locks and puzzles worked before we entered the room. We really found the first 30 minutes quite hard. We asked for a ton of hints. Then, most of my teens really got into it during the last 30 minutes of our time -- especially the end!! Wow, there were some really cool puzzles in there! We broke out! All of my teens said they would love to do another escape room. I asked them whether they would like to try the virtual escape rooms, but they said they definitely would prefer doing the physical ones, not the virtual.

Washrooms: Yes

Parking: There is tons of free parking.

Wheelchair accessible: There is a wheelchair accessible parking spot. I didn't see a wheelchair accessible washroom, so you should call to ask. There were a number of rooms in this place, so I might have missed it.

Well, ahem, gather 'round, gather 'round, for I have just returned from the most curious of adventures, a journey down the rabbit hole, if you will, but not quite as you know it! We, my family and I, a merry band of five (ranging from the size of a dormouse to...well, let's just say slightly larger dormouse proportions), braved the new "Wonderland" room at ExitUs Escape Rooms!

Oh, what a delightful tumble it was! Not your average tea party, I assure you. We chose the intermediate level, you see, for even a hatter needs a bit of a challenge, wouldn't you agree? And a challenge it was! A curiouser collection of puzzles I haven't seen since the Queen's croquet match! Cryptograms, riddles, and contraptions that would make even the Cheshire Cat grin! They truly used the whole space, you see, not just a corner or two. It was like Wonderland itself had sprung up around us!

What made it truly mad, you ask? Why, the new puzzles, of course! Things I'd never encountered in all my years of hosting tea parties and attending madcap trials! They were quite ingenious, if I do say so myself. Kept us all on our toes, from the youngest tadpole to the...well, let's just say the slightly older tadpole. A splendid time was had by all! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly wonder-ful adventure! Just don't lose your head, like some people I could mention
 ahem!
