Mauvais service, on s'est fait mettre dehors un peu brusquement un peu avant l'heure de fermeture

We visited the Comox Valley on a whim so we didn't have much information before we got there. The people working there were super helpful. They have a great display of the different activities you can do in the Comox Valley. Almost like a little museum. It was so well done. They have also a small native souvenirs shop.

Don't even consider briefly using an outlet made available in the restrooms lol because if the employees, especially the boss lady with the bitchy face sees you doing so she will shut off the breaker and when asked about it you will receive an outlandish lie about how that outlet was wrecked by a visitor but will be fixed soon. Half the ladies that are employed there are just absolutely rude with horrible people skills. If you can avoid communication with them I recommend so.

The Comox Valley offers an enormous range of outdoor pursuits. Fishing, mountain biking, skiing and hiking. There are spectacular lakes, parks and historic caves (just south of Comox Valley is Horne Lake and Caves- co operated with the help of BC Parks. Napping is an option in some circumstances, but you may miss out. Cumberland offers world class mountain biking with eclectic independent restaurants, coffee shops and bicycle stores. Nanaimo is the last supercharger for northbound Tesla owners, but the Buckley Bay rest stop and charging station is being massively upgraded (supercharged you could almost say). The Tourism Information Centre at the turnoff to Courtenay/Comox has a single car charger with enough amperage to charge a cell phone. If you are going to spend 10 hours filling an EV here, you can at least stare at the decommissioned Snow Birds jet. Vancouver Island is the home of Broken Home Honey. This growing bee keeping coop is sweetening the pallet of Islanders while focussing on sustainable growth and consensual pollination.

A nice resting spot with nice clean bathrooms, friendly staff, picnic tables outside, a big gift shop, and lots of information about what to do around the Comox area. (Also an electric car charging point)

Staff was amazing! They recommended the outdoor Comox Airport Museum and we loved it!

We ended up here on accident. We were trying to get to Air Force Museum. But it is a fantastic spot. Everyone was friendly, and my son loved the scavenger hunt.

Stopped by the visitor info center on Sunday, June 30 - it was closed! The first long weekend of the summer and they're closed!! There was one other vehicle there when I pulled up and four others pulling in as I was leaving.
What are you thinking Comox Valley Long weekends are when people get in their cars to travel and often need visitor info centers.

The girl that helped us was awesome. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. I believe her name was Dana. It was definitely worth the stop.
