The best way to start our trip to Banff, we booked the Sunrise at Moraine Lake and Lake Louise with Explore Banff Tours. Communication and pickup was super easy as we were picked up right outside of our hotel in Canmore. From there we travelled to Moraine Lake where our guide Austin provided us with information about the area and plenty of time to take in the absolutely beautiful and breathtaking views. We then drove to Lake Louise where we had enough time for a leisurely stroll around the lake. On the ride back Austin regaled us with tales and knowledge of the area and answered all of our questions, overall fantastic!! I cannot recommend this tour enough if you’re traveling to the area.

I recently went on the Johnston Canyon and Marble Canyon tour, and it was incredible, thanks to our guide, Austin. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe, comfortable, and happy throughout the trip.

Austin’s knowledge of the area was impressive—he shared fascinating facts, kept the group engaged, and even helped us capture amazing photos. His humor and friendly approach made the tour feel like an adventure with friends.

The canyons were stunning, but Austin’s passion and attention to detail truly made this experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Austin as your guide!

We recently took the Lake Louise and Moraine lake experience tour with Explore Banff tour company and we really enjoyed it. We did a lot of research before deciding to use them and we were so glad we did because we prefer a small tour and they picked us up at our hotel directly. The tour took about 6.5 hours total with 4 hours at the lakes ( 2 hours to play for each lake) which allowed us to hike lake Louise, take lots of pictures and enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed. We also were able to spend an hour canoeing in the beautiful Moraine lake and hike up Rockpile for a majestic view. A big shout-out for Brooke, our tour guide, who was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Josh and Brooke also kept us informed about the pickup and drop-off time. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would recommend them for the tour.

We loved our experience! Brooke was an amazing guide. She was as friendly, thoughtful, and a wealth of knowledge. The pick up right at our condo in Canmore was such a plus. The van was new and clean. Highly recommend this as a more “private” way to explore Moraine Lake and Lake Louise (vs the bigger companies that just shove loads of people on buses all day long).

We were very happy that we had booked our Icefields Parkway Tour with Explore Banff for 7 October 2024. Austin was on time for the pick-up and it felt like meeting an old good friend. The tour is characterised by its small group and individuality. Please keep it up. We were particularly lucky with the weather and so Austin showed us the most beautiful places and views. After the tour you go happily into the evening. We can only warmly recommend Explore Banff for tours.

Austin was our guide felt like meeting a friend he is so polite, well mannered, positive attitude, very much approachable,entertained us the whole day, giving us lots of information on the areas that we visited.
